What did you dream of last night?

A thread to share your dreams! Not neccessarily the one you had last night but share the most

interesting or strange or wonderful dream you’ve had. I just think dreams are sooooo interesting… especially

when they’re really obscure.

I had an epic dream last night. It was like a movie. But not so much of a

plotline.

Well it was at my house but it was like… during war time or something.
The whole place was

destroyed and the house was dark and flooded and we were fearing this evil person coming after us.
Me and my

sister were younger like… I was maybe 7…? And I think we had ran away from the evil person we were scared

of.
Well anyways my parents had gone off to like… fight evil people and me and my sister were left at home

which was still dark and flooded. While we were at home alone we stocked up on all the things we would need… I

remember like putting a TON of bandages in my bag. Hahah.
And me and my sister also had these like… walkie

talkie things… but they were cassete tapes. It was kinda cool and strange at the same time. And our parents told

us to hang on to them because if we get seperated we could talk to each other and know where the other is (I

don’t know why we didn’t give one to our parents instead).

After a few days my parents returned, and for

a moment I was seeing it from their eyes. They were walking into the house and I could feel their fear that their

children may not be there anymore since they hadn’t seen/talked to them in several days. It was still flooded

and after a while there was a trail of paper airplanes. (At this point like, orchestrated music started playing…

yeah.) At the end of the trail there was a huge sheet where me and my sister had slept. Except it was empty and I

could feel my parents’ anxiety worsening. Butttt… it was all good because me and my sister popped out of

somewhere and it was happy.

Everything was still on high alert and we couldn’t turn on lights or

anything. Now this part is amusing… one day after my parents were home Mulan and… her husband… come floating

through the kitchen window. LOL! And I was like, “OMGITSMULANN!!” And she had come to protect us I

guess with her ancient Chinese magic. Hahah.

Eventually things started to calm down and we were able to

light our lights and unflood our house… but I don’t remember much after Mulan came.

It was a very

interesting dream, it wasn’t very happy… I remember being scared a lot of the time. But I liked it for some

reason, I think I like the part where Mulan came best. Heheh.

Wow, that’s a really strange dream!

To

be honest, I’m not a dreamer. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a dream.

I usually have dreams but usually I can’t remember them

once I wake up. If I take a nap when I still have homework to do however, my dreams tend to be about stressing

out and they wake me up… lol. 8D

Thank

goodness for this thread! I have dreams a lot, and I remember them when I wake up but if I don’t write them

down, I may forget them by the end of the day. Oops.

The dreams I have are triggered by what happens in

reality, obviously. Like, after 9/11, I never had a plane dream where one was normally flying in the air… it

would always crash. Another one would be where I’m watching Stephen Colbert talk about Chuck Norris on the

Colbert Report and then I would dream about Chuck Norris, hahaha.

I had a

disturbing dream the other night- a mixture of ‘Pirates of the Carribbean’ and ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’.

Can’t remember much … but it was too weird. =P

Sad to say

I haven’t been dreamin lately :frowning: But don’t you hate it when your really enjoying your dream and someone has to

ruin it by waking you up. It’s just things like that I can never forget. One dream I remember having that was

ruined. it was pretty simple but it still annoys me. I just happened to be playing tag with some friends and I

was it. I was like maybe a good inch away from tagging somebaody i had been chasing through the whole dream, and

a the last second somebody decides to wake me up! I haven’t had that dream since then.

Hahah I hate that too! Except usually the dreams where I

wake up before it happens have to do with food. Lol. I can vividly remember being so close to taking a bite of

cotton candy and then waking up. It was sad. Sad indeed. 8D

YES! Gaah! :imp:

But anyways… I

have a few memorable dreams. The most recent one would be a few days after I got back from Space Camp; I don’t

remember most of it, but it ended with our group walking out of one of the buildings and there suddenly being a

big, giant machine gun massacre. :open_mouth: That is to date the absolute freakiest thing my subconscious has ever

come up with. I was just about to nobly (ha, that tells you immediately that it was a dream :unamused:) save my best

friend that I made there when I woke up, but I just closed my eyes and pretended I was still asleep and made up

as happy an ending as was still possible.

Other than that, I mainly just remember little snippets from

nightmares from when I was three or four or five years old, most of them involving clowns and/or dolls.

shudder

I remember a lot of my dreams (not last nights’, though)

and am very interested in the whole prospect of them. It’s such a shame that more study is not put into the

subject. I love dreaming - I’ve even had a few that (get ready for this) have predicted the future. Oh, and

there’s that whole dreaming-while-you’re-awake thing, which is cool too.

I just woke up from a nap and had the most bizarre dream. I always do.

For some

reason, I was in a lab with some guys and this psycho monkey attacked out of nowhere and sank his teeth into the

one guy’s arm. But we couldn’t worry about him because a tornado was heading right for my house (somehow I

warped to my house).

Whatever. My dreams never make sense. LOL

~~=oP

Oy, I hate these kind of dreams…

I dreamed that I

was in California (not exactly sure, but that’s the vibe I got), on the beach, and suddenly I could see a

missile in the air. Nobody else noticed it, but then it dove into the ocean and exploded. People started panicing

and I was like, “I knew what it was!” I can’t remember if another one hit the sandy beach, but I think

it did. I saw people hiding under evergreen trees.

My dreams don’t always involve missiles and plane

crashes… I swear! Maybe tonight it’ll be better…

The only dream I can

really remember, I must’ve had a long, long time ago, as it was set in my old house. All I remember is Steve

Buscemi playing pool in my living room.

I don’t remember any RECENT dreams, but I have had re-occuring nightmares about an

airplane/large machine crushing me to death. But I always woke up before it got gorey. Oddly enough, I was never

afraid of large machinery afterwards

Then there was the time I watched IT as a young Blobby, and

dreamed I was in the story. But Pennywise kept scaring me awake (this wasback in the

clowns-are-nothing-but-ulimate-EVIL-they-want-to-be-the-dominate-species-and-they’ll-destroy-us-all-to-make-it-h

appen days. :unamused:) I would fall asleep again, only to have the dream pick up where it left off

I

was afraid of clowns BEFORE the movie, and reading the book eliminated that fear .

I

had a dream last night my house was being attacked by zombies…It as scary! I had to kick many a zombies’ butt

with my mad yellow-belt karate skills. An Andrewsarchus saved me…And I think the Stargate SG01 team was in

there too. :open_mouth:

Andrewsarchus → pictures.greatestjournal.com/use … 16/1131649

FreeeEEEeEEeEeEEeEeEEEEEeeeeAAaaaAAAAaaaky… :open_mouth:

Omg I’ve had a dream like

that too! Except they weren’t zombies, they were ninjas. And I had my family with me but it turned into like, me

saving my family from getting killed. I had magical karate moves and I beat them all down. It was like 20 vs. 1

and I won. Hahah! It was pretty awesome.

I once

had a dream where I was on my home street, running away from about 30 angry women (don’t ask why). I was almost

at my house when I saw a bike on the edge of the sidewalk. I picked up the bike, threw it at them (it hit the

woman closest to me), and kept on running.

Yeh, you’d think I had the brains to

ride the bike. Haha, I love my dreams.

smirks I had a funny Pixar dream last night…

There was a gathering of the

Pixar crew (it included John Lasseter and Andrew Stanton, which are pretty much the only faces I remember) in a

grocery store. There was a bunch of people waiting to see them. The location would change back and forth from the

store to my house (that happens a lot in my dreams… location changes). At some point, John Lasseter was in a

wedding dress trying to make a point (there were chairs and I was nearly beside him, trying not to laugh, even

though that was probably what he was going for).

At some point, he slipped on my floor and had to be taken

to the hospital. The Pixar crew went to the hospital (I stayed at my house), but they would return later on. A

guy who was helping out with the event made a nice bouquet of flowers which I gave to the crew in hopes for a

speedy recovery.

Ummm… yeah.

I had a dream with John Lasseter in it once, can’t believe I didn’t remember to mention it

earlier. It was only one tiny little part of the dream near the middle, but I remember that John Lasseter and

Steve Jobs were in a small play I was watching, and after the play had been going for a little bit one of them (I

can’t remember which one it was) apparently didn’t have anything else to do in the play and so came out into

the audience and sat down next to me and watched the rest of the play. I think there might have been some of the

characters from Cars working an obstacle course at the beginning of that dream, too.

As for last night’s

dream, it involved the girl I like and a movie theater. :unamused: Yeah…

I had

a freaky dream last night.

I was in a dark room, and I could feel someone next to me. It was a long time

before the door opened a a shadow of a man stepped in. Finaly I could see my partner. It was Cody!!(MW, yes, that

Cody)I was so stunned I couldn’t hear the door close. I was in darkness again, and I heard someone talking. He

was saying this wierd stuff in a language I didn’t understand…I tkept getting louder, and soon I was so

scared I used Cody to help me stand up. as the vioce grew really loud, I thought I could make out some of th

ewords, and I woke up.

I’m still trying to remeber the words…
