What did you get for Christmas?

Netbug009: :open_mouth: Wow! That is an amazing Pixar-related gift, matter-of-fact, it’s actually an amazing gift, period! I mean, wow, it’s really hard to get an authentic script for Christmas, but a Pixar script!!! smashes head on the wall That is really a big deal for many of us! I really hope that you enjoy that script, but, just like little_chef_eva09, I’m confused as to what the script is? The first thing that came to my mind was Toy Story, but then, you said that somethign about Wall-E, and then I thought about Toy Story 2 and then… explodes from too much thinking What is it actually? I seriously have no clue as to what the script is, 'cause I’m a real idiot! :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways, moving on, here’s what I got:

  • a whole bunch of movies, consisting of Pixar movies (such as Wall-E & Up), and then some other movies (TDK, Forrest Gump, South Park)
  • the last two seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender (I love this show and I’m not ashamed of it! :sunglasses: )
  • the first three seasons of South Park (I’ve already watched a few and they’re funny as heck!)
  • the Mike Judge collection of Beavis & Butt-head (they’re stupid, but funny, and also part of the 90s, which I would’ve loved to have my childhood years in, instead of the 2000s)
  • a JVC Everio camcorder (gonna use this baby to make videos of me reviewing some movies, and other random, fun videos, too)
  • a $25 iTunes card (which I can’t use yet 'cause there aren’t any interesting songs and the fact that I’m still recovering my iTunes library)
  • a stash of candy

I didn’t get both of the Toy Story movies on DVD yet (I still have them on VHS), because, in March, there’s another re-release of them, and, also, I had to work on a lot of chores for my parents to get half the money needed for some of these items, but it was all worth it! :sunglasses:

I got some nice stuff this year:

  • Tim Hauser - Pixar book (the treasures)
  • Up DVD
  • Ipod ears
  • and a few little things…

Haha, sorry guys, I was so excited that I didn’t mention what script it was. xD It’s the one for WALL-E.

Pixar related items:
I got Pixarpedia, and two large posters from WALL-E and Up that my family framed! Oh, I also got a homemade Pixar sign from my little brother and a homemade mini-Pixarpedia from my little sister.

Ahh. Aaaaaaaaaaah. AAAAAAAHHHH. pantpantpant STEALS minemineminemine

  • candy…lots of it
  • WALL-E slides for my Viewmaster
  • a horse calendar
  • a very nice easel that folds up small
  • a model unicorn
They didn’t get me any of the stuff on my list, but I told them they could give me that stuff for my birthday.

SgtYayap- Ooh, what kind of a Randall figurine? And you should play your Ratchet and Clank game, Ratchet and Clank is awesome! Especially Clank. Such a funny little robot.

movieman369- Yay, Beavis and Butthead! And wow, you did get a lot of movies…!

lizardgirl: I would show pictures, but, unfortunately, I’m not at home right now, meaning I can’t upload pictures to the web. I might get home tomorrow, though, so I’ll see what I can do.

As for Ratchet and Clank, I’m actually quite familiar with the franchise; I started playing the games 5 years ago with Going Commando.

Haha, okay. xD;;; hugs script lightly

Christmas was really awesome for me this year, and I got some nice presents to boot:

A novel, both Harry Potter Ultimate Edition Blu-ray sets…
…and the pièce de résistance: Ratatouille on Blu-ray plus various cooking ingredients. Simply perfect. :sunglasses:

I got some pretty cool things for Christmas:

Drawn to Life by Walt Stanchfield
The Art of Up
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince DVD
Harry Potter and the HBP 2010 calendar
A life size cardboard cutout of Professor Snape!
An electronic teakettle to bring back to school with me
A Peanuts Christmas CD — Vince Guaraldi is awesome!

Here’s what I got for Christmas, from left to right:

  • Dazzle Video Capture device, so I can record me playing my Wii for my Youtube Let’s Play Series!
  • An empty Game Gear carrying case (…I don’t have a Game Gear to put in it…)
  • Mario Brothers for the Atari 5200 (I don’t have an Atari ether!)
  • Up Deluxe DVD!
  • The Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past for the Super Nintendo!
  • Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest for the Super Nintendo with booklets!

  • 6 ‘Mondo’ Artificial flavored drinks in plastic bottles (They’re at the dollor tree, and I happen to like them… :sunglasses: )
  • Cheeto’s Limon Flam’in Hot Cheetos (I don’t understand why my parents get me the Limon one’s all the time! I don’t like the limon kind very much…)
  • Two iTunes gift cards, one $10 and one $15
  • Headphones
  • and, not in the picture, an Intel branded blanket.

I’d say this was a overall good year. Only thing I was sad I didn’t get was the PixarPedia… And maybe a Blu-Ray player. lol

Let’s see. A very snazzy vest from Macy’s, a case for my SD memory cards and flash drives, an itunes card, some other random gift cards/checks, a bath set. And my favorite presents, “The Art of Disney Princesses” book and “The Art of Avatar” book. Together with my PATF art book and my Elemental Magic art book, it was a darn good season for inspirational books

I got books… books… books!! Lots of books!! Thanks goes to my mom for the wonderful novels. On top of that, my sister got me Fanboys and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, and my dad drew me… Well, you guys absolutely have to see what my dad drew me for Christmas:

Oh wow… you guys are so lucky to have so much stash for your Christmas loot… :frowning: Awesome, people!

Wow, that was… amazing. Your dad rawks, Mitch! :open_mouth:

Oh, darn! You had me thinking it was Toy Story, but, wow, still, that must’ve been a really great gift, Netbug009! Hope you’re enjoying it, right now!

Uhhh…heh…huh…huh…huh… This rules. Heh…heh…huh…yeah… I’m glad to see that somebody else likes them, too. I was born a bit too late to see them on TV in the 90s, but I started watching some of their episodes on YouTube and I really liked them. So, I decided to get some of their DVDs, and I became a fan, really quick! Yeah, it was a lot of movies, because I wasn’t buying that much during the last year and I saved up some more money to get these. In the end, though, it was worth it!

Woah! :open_mouth: Your dad is amazing! Is he a professional artist or does he just draw stuff in his spare time? This is really good quality work! Me likey Russell with Remy, too, it looks cute.

Wow Mitch, your dad is an amazing artist! And the best gifts are homemade, I think.

I got an Xbox 360, Left 4 Dead 2, Assassins Creed II, and Modern Warfare 2. (A lot of sequels in 2009 apparently). Perfume, a girly item pack, a diamond cross necklacke. a watch that vaguely resembles a deformed snow flake, body butter from Victoria’s Secret, and oil painting lessons.

Most excited for the painting lessons. I’ve always admired artists and have wanted to become one for a long time.

thedriveintheatre - Ha-ha. On dad’s behalf, “Thanks”!

movieman369 - Heheh. You’re too kind! I’ll tell dad that you like it.

Yep, he’s a professional artist, and has been in the business for approximately thirty years. He’s worked on such films as The Fox and the Hound, The Black Cauldron, and The Tigger Movie, and has directed some of the Animaniacs shorts, among many other things.

Thanks, again!

lizardgirl - You’re most definitely right! I love home-made presents.

I’ll say “thanks” on dad’s behalf!

– Mitch

Mitch - That’s awesome! Your dad can really draw!

As for what I got for Hannukah - here goes:

-Socks
-Ticket to see a Hypnotist at my school, which was really fun
-Nerds candy (I’m a cannibal! xD)
-Two chinese dragons from Hawaii’s Chinatown. There’s a long story behind one. My dad was just looking, and saw one of them. It was $250, which was WAY too high, so he tried to leave, but instead of letting him go, the woman manning the store thought he was haggling and eventually dropped the price to about 15 dollars.
-VCR versions of Toy Story, Monster’s Inc, and Finding Nemo
-UP Bluray/DVD combo pack. Despite the fact that we don’t have a bluray player, I wanted this one because someday I WILL be able to see the features.
-Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince game for PC

and best of all…
-A new 16GB iPod Nano with video camera!!! I’ve had a mini since 2008, which dissapeared in May last year, so I just got a replacement and I am ecstatic to have my portable music back! Mine is green, and I also got an awesome case. griffintechnology.com/products/iclear-sketch
It’s the Dusk one of that lineup. It make is look I fail at typing. xD It is made to look like there is a design printed on the iPod, and it is GORGEOUS.[/i]
