Well, Christmas morning is here! Tell us what ya got and even show us! Got any pictures? Upload and post! We’d love to see them! Did ya get what ya wanted?
I never get “What I wanted” because I never give my family a Christmas list. I like just seeing what they find for me. xD
Okay, so I got…
-A sermon about some popular apologetic questions. PJ says it’s to fend off the smart alec flamers who pick on me for believing in God. I’ve kinda gotten to a point where I just ignore them, but I still find stuff like this facinating, so it’s allll good. ^^
-A new harmonica! The tone’s great!
-From PJ’s family, A REALLY SOFT LIKE CRAZY SOFT winter vest. It’s the only piece of clothing I got this year, and I’m glad. I normally tend to get about a bajillion sweaters and only really wear one or two. Somebody is catching on.
-Some pretty decorative stuff from PJ’s mom and sister. They have a good sense of style.
-From PJ’s family again… this snowglobe. Oh my gosh guys, I wish I had a picture. It is BEAUTIFUL and it’s got the nativity scene and plays music and FGRDBKTNRBETKDETN. <3333
-Stocking stuffers, and I got a TON. Candy, Christmassy pencils/pens, that stuff. And gum. Woohoo!
But anyways, Pixar related: My family kinda has figured out by now that when all else fails: find WALL-E stuff. I got a fleece blanket and a pillow case, both 2D style (YESSSSSS) but…my favorite thing this year…
Oh man guys. Man. I’m just, I don’t even, WOAH. WOW.
So, I open this biggish box to find… a bound pile of paper? The outside is plainly covered in blue poster board. I open it curiously and it takes me all of 5 seconds to recognize the contents from my favorite screenplay.
Net: You guys printed and bound the screenplay for me? Thank you!
PJ: Nonono, we didn’t.
Net: …?
PJ: That’s a copy from production. ^^
AND I JUST STARED AT HER BLANKLY. IT WAS NOT COMPUTING.
Net: …Wait… what… HOW?!
PJ: I have my ways. ^^ There’s a company that buys these from studios after production is over and sells them to fans. It helps bring the studio extra money for their leftovers. For all we know Mr. Lasseter could have been looking over that.
I dunno, but the fact that it was just within the walls of Pixar is good enough for me. I just… I don’t even… WOW. <33333
Oh, DANG! That’s incredible! If I could get my hands on something like that,… just wow. I salute you for having the greatest Pixar-related present I think anyone could get. Bravo.
I received a rather hefty box from my parents, and open it up to find a Phillips Blu-ray player. WHOOO! I did NOT expect my parents to get me one. Of course, I can only enjoy so much quality, since there’s already an HDTV in my house already reserved for the family BD player, but I can still indulge on the Cine-Explore some more and those satisfying features.
I also got a lot of art supplies from my sister and brother in law, including art pencils, a ton of charcoal, prismacolor pencils, some art markers, and heavy-duty marker paper. Pretty stoked about that.
For the most part, the rest was clothes (space invaders shirt, SMB3 hat, pajama pants <3 , MuteMath [awesome band] shirt). I also got a GPS for whenever I (Hopefully) move to Kansas, Florida, and someday, California.
I thought I’d wind up getting a tablet before I’d get a blu-ray player (since my parents even told me it’s more useful), but my aunt’s coming next week. (Stuck behind snow) She usually gives money as gifts, so if that happens, it’s going towards a tablet for myself. I’m starving to get one.
Merry Christmas everybody! For those who don’t celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays!
I got:
- Harry Potter And The Halfblood Prince (Wii game)
- Walt Disney Treasures: Oswald The Lucky Rabbit
- a jacket
- a Jack Skellington scarf
- money
And the two things I wanted the most… The Princess And The Frog soundtrack and The Art of The Princess And The Frog
Yep, I’m happy with my presents. Happy Holidays, everyone
Wow Netbug009, that’s a truly original Pixar present! You’re so lucky to have that!
I didn’t even realise you could give your family a ‘Christmas list’. It seems a bit strange to actually write down a list of the stuff you want for Christmas…Though I did do a lot of hinting beforehand.
I recieved;
-some beads for my troll bead bracelet thingy
-a very purple cardigan and scarf
-some slippers
-a calendar for 2010
-lots of chocolate
…as well as the rest of the money for my new laptop.
My cat ended up getting a couple of catnip mice, which she has promptly destroyed.
No, I’m pretty sure it’s WALL-E. XP
ffdude1906- ART SUPPLIES Actually, I made it very clear I did not want art supplies for Christmas personally. I bought a ton for school this year so yeah. xD BTW, art markers can SMELL, so be prepared for that. They’re awesome, but they smell.
Witch_of_Night- Yay Art Of book! My family already did shopping by the time I was into PATF, so I’m treating myself to some PATF when we go shopping tomorrow. I need to get a calendar anyway.
lizardgirl-Congrats on getting the rest of your laptop cash! And I’m so glad I’m not the only one who has a pet that tears through gifts quickly. Mom gave our chihuahua a Santa toy and… oh that poor toy. Woody and Buzz would be curled up in a corner terrified if they saw that. ;_;
lol (Toy Story is the best)! My dog also destroyed his toys.
What I got for Christmas was:
-Toy Story Collection Woody & Buzz
-black, white, red, and navy thermal shirts
-black north face pull over and north face slippers
-black and white hoodies
-Sean John jeans
50th POST!
I got…
Glenn Beck’s Arguing With Idiots on Audiobook
Going Rogue by Sarah Palin (actual book)
A bunch of iTunes cards
Copic inking pen set <3
Webcam for my laptop
Rayman Raving Rabbids for Wii
Wii Sports Resort
A new coffee mug
A hoodie with Sarah Palin on it ahhhh <3
And a wonderful Christmas PM from my WALL•E (mo) <3 <3 Totally made my night and beat any other present that I got, seriously.
Not as many presents as most people, but I don’t really care. At least there WERE some, cuz there was a point where I actually believed there would be nothing under the tree this year due to being financially strapped. Praise God - He came through and blessed us once again this year. <3
little chef
Wii Sports Resort? That’s what my brothers and I also got today!
I got nearly everything I wanted for this Christmas.
- A device which you can play your ipod in your car
- A coupld gift cards
- lots of clothes, jeans, and jackets,
- A Lebron James Jersey
- Love
THis Christmas, in my opinion, was my favorite Christmas of all of my years of existance.
Well, I mentioned mine already in the Christmas thread, so here’s the link. PatF and Up fans may be interested (or envious)… it’s fun to read your posts, everyone.
Here’s what I got:
Corel Paint Shop Pro Ultimate X2
A tablet (finally!)
an expansion pack to Dance Praise (love that game)

I got all that I wanted, aside from 1 ds game (the new Zelda that came out) and a tablet… because I forgot to put it on my list
~ black DSi
~ Kindom Hearts
~ Scribblenauts
~ Cars and Toy Story figurines
~ Pixarpedia

That’s all I can really remember, I was pretty much blown away when I opened the DSi (which, btw, they are really heavy)
Oh, man… awesome christmas
I got:
(at my mom’s house)
all the Green Day Cd’s I don’t already have (so now I have all their CD’s)
Green Day’s “Bullet in a Bible” DVD
A Green Day Jacket
2 Green Day T-Shirts
Some Candy
(at my dad’s house)
A new bass guitar
Anime Studio (a 2d animation software, it’s so cool!)
iTunes giftcard
these cool balls that you hold in your hand and when you strike them together they make this popping sound like a cap gun going off.
Princess_Darkness: Awesome! We’ve been having a blast with it so far… I tried playing bowling again this morning and could hardly do it… my arm is SUPER sore from playing it yesterday!
Netbug: Wait, I’m kinda lost on what movie it is, exactly. You just said blue front cover and John Lasseter and I’m like “okay, yeah, it’s a Pixar screenplay…” but beyond that I’m reading and trying to figure out WHICH movie it is. Call me an idiot but I seriously don’t know which one you’re talking about.
JSWC: You’re gonna love having a tablet once you get used to it. And I’m still trying to figure out why exactly Pajama Sam is like, all that all of a sudden.
TDIT: Oh man, those books are awesome! I’d love to have a flip-through that Up one! The illustrations are sooo pretty… ;___;
mo: Wow, sounds like you had an awesome Christmas! That 2d animation thingy sounds awesome, I hope you can get a lot of use outta that! And fajksdflsak I saw the pics of you in your Green Day jacket and I’m like “:D”

I gotta get those iTunes cards loaded onto the computer, but the question is, what am I gonna buy with them? There really isn’t like a certain CD or song I’ve really been wanting, but I have a lot of money to work with so I’m sure I’ll find something to spend it on soon enough.
little chef
little_chef: I’ve actually given myself some practice with the tablet. My lines still come a little jagged, but I bet if I practice everyday, I’ll be a pro at it!
Oh, and if you want to know, Pajama Sam is a series of games about a little boy who pretends to be a superhero in his pajamas and gets transported to fantasy worlds so he can conquer his fears. You might like it; the animation and design looks like BechnoKid’s artwork.
BTW, BechnoKid has a coloring tutorial featuring this character.
I got a Randall figurine, but unfortunately, that was all I got that was Pixar-related.
Not to say that other presents weren’t worth it, though. Anyone who’s seen my YouTube videos might notice that some of the videos have music composed by myself. Well, for Christmas, I got another source of sounds for my music: another software synthesizer.
Now that I think about it, though, that software WAS Pixar-related, to an extent: one of the presets is titled “Winds of Change”.
Anyway, I also got the latest Ratchet and Clank game, which is essentially a sci-fi themed, semi-kid-friendly shooter game. Not sure if I’ll ever get around to playing it, though.
I got some pretty nice stuff this year. Bluray player and Wacom tablet (Intuos4) were the big things. For the most part the rest was money, but I also got a couple of books and games. Funny thing is, my mom got me Pixarpedia, but I already bought it in August. Anyway, Bluray is amazing, and the Wacom tablet is awesome, it has a really nice feeling. Yay!
@Bryko Wow, talk about a crazy coincidence! A BD player and a tablet were my 2 top gifts! I got a BD player, and I WOULD have a tablet, but my parents had to help me pay for some car repairs I needed and they already had the BD, so no tablet. I’m hoping I’ll get some money from my aunt that I can put towards one.
That’s great! Sounds like you had a good one, and you’ve also got those figures coming your way, good deal!
@SgtYayap I really recommend taking a stab at Ratchet, I have the first 3 games for PS2, and they’re awesome! There’s a lot of really great humor, and it’s just fun as heck. You end up getting some seriously insane weapons, like a gun that turns enemies into exploding sheep.
I actually got a guitar for Christmas. [Cheers, mo!] I wasn’t even expecting one, but it’s always something I’ve wanted to learn to play, but never got around to it. I’ve been playing it-…er trying to play it for hours now and my lefthand fingertips are so sore. XD
Sadly, nothing Pixar related, but then again I already have the Up DVD.
And wow, a lot of people got tablets, huh? Something I’ve considered, too. I don’t know why, but I’m straying from animation… and it’s really weird. I was into it for years and now I’ve just lost interest. I tried my hand at acting a few times and I’m really digging that… :S Ah, I’m rambling… go figure.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Sounds like everyone got some awesome stuff. And I know what you mean, little chef eva… I’m sure many people are feeling financial stress and it’s great you had some gifts after all.
