All of them are the German ones of course, except for the two, where I put the “(UK-Import”). I had good reasons to import them For TLM: I heard it will only be single discv and it will have the horrbile dubbing from 1998, instead of 1990. And for B&B: around forty minutes were cut in the German version.
I’m planning to get the UK-DVDs of Pocahontas, Tarzan and Lilo & Stitch. The Pocahontas DVD is just lousy. Only the move, without the new scene, two music videos, one or two games and a cartoon. I heard the UK-DVD is better, so I’m going to get the one. And for Tarzan and Lilo & Stitch is the same reason as B&B: they cutted the movies. But I heard there is only one scene they cutted in Lilo & Stitch in the UK.

I really want to buy some of the classics, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Aladdin, Hercules, and Dumbo, but I haven’t got any of them on DVD right now. I had them on VHS as a child, but we don’t have a video player any more.

The only Disney film we do have on DVD, I think, is Dinosaur.

I have more VHS’s than DVDs so here’s our VHS/DVD list
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
Nightmare Before Christmas
Pirates of The Carribean: At Worlds End
Pirates of The Carribean: Dead Man’s Chest
101 Dalmations
Mulan
The Little Mermaid
Freaky Friday
Lilo and Stich
Beauty and The Beast

Well, I have a bunch of Disney films on VHS. The only ones I have on DVD that aren’t Pixar are:

Lion King
Lion King II
Pirates of the Caribbean (all 3)
Meet the Robinsons
Chronicles of Narnia

Witch_of_Night: You have Duck Tales DVD’s! Awesome! I LOVED watching that!

Just Robin Hood. odd.

I don’t know exactly which Disney DVDs my family has got, but I do know that I have the Pirates of the Carribean (Black Pearl) and Narnia in my room.

Yes, but I heard in the US there was/is a box with three discs and on every disc are six episodes. But in Germany there isn’t the box. Instad the three discs are seperated, making them single discs. So we have only about twenty episodes on DVD, unlike the US with at least three boxes (I checked).

sigh Why do they change so much here?

I have quite a few VHS tapes still but I only have a few DVDs:

Nightmare Before Christmas (if you count that as Disney)
Aladdin
Little Mermaid
Tale Spin Season 1

I think that my brother has:
Pirate’s of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl- 2 Disc Collector’s Edition
Pirate’s of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest- 2 Disc Special Edition
Pirate’s of the Caribbean: At World’s End- 3 Disc Limited Edtion
The Lion King- 2 Disc Special Edition
The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride- Special Edition
The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata- 2 Disc Special Edition
National Treasure- 2 Disc Collector’s Edition
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe
:sunglasses:

I won’t bother naming mine. I’ve gotten several Disney DVDs recently simply for the codes, and haven’t gotten around to watching the features and stuff. I actually forget which ones I’ve bought, but I do love them and love features even more. Hopefully I’ll be able to get all that watching done in January.

Well, other than the few Pixar DVDs I have, I just found my Lilo & Stitch: Stitch Has A Glitch DVD recently while I was flipping through my VCD/DVD case. My poor financial status restricts me from purchasing as many DVDs as you guys. :frowning:

WBoon: Hey, I get mine cheap - it’s not as if I’m rich or anything. I’ve had to cut back besides that fact - which really stinks because I need another 800 points to get a movie reward that I’ve wanted.

Yeah, but it’s not like I’m not poor as well. You should try to live here once in a while, might teach you a good lesson about how difficult the economy is here.

WBoon: I hope I didn’t offend you. We’re on a tight budget right now, so I can’t get much. I can’t even say that I relate to where you’re coming from, because this island is chock full of people in debt that are in for a rude awakening if the stock market does crash.

Nah. ‘Offend’ requires more hostility. You just plain annoy me as much as I believe I have annoyed you, that’s all. :stuck_out_tongue: JK

I believe that my poor finan… I mean my parents’ poor financial status possibly came from their lack of education - something I ought to learn from but never really did. Therefore, we cannot really afford much fancy stuff throughout the world. Heck, I’ve never even traveled once due to this (though it is also because my parents feel a sense of threat from the terrorists).

But anyway, time to go back on topic. :stuck_out_tongue:

I just bought Aladdin and Hercules on DVD, two for the price of one! I’ve watched them both already, and I’d forgotten just how great they are, especially Hercules. The smoothness of the animation is just superb, and Hades is even more amazing and funny than I remembered him as.

Lots of VHS…but some dvd’s as well.

Lion King 1, 1.5, 2
Cinderella
The Little Mermaid
The Little Princess
Whiney the Pooh-Season of Giving
Davy Crockett-King of the wild Frontier
Mary Poppins
The Aristocrats
Snow Dogs
The many adventures of Whiney the Pooh
Beauty and the Beast
Rascal
Whiney the Pooh-Springtime with Roo
Pooh’s Grand Adventure-The Search For Christopher Robin
Dumbo
Lady and the Tramp
Angels in the Outfield
Snow Buddies
Meet the Robinsons
National Treasure
Narnia-The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

I talked with my parents and they said the only way to add more Disney DVDs to my collection is if the DVD is Pixar or the movie is that enjoyable/good.

I so want Aladdin, but you can’t get it any more in Australia…that makes me so angry :exclamation: :exclamation:
