Monica. It’s either Greek or Latin (old school!) and can mean “counselor” or “solitary.”
I’m happy with it. No one ever compliments me on it or anything, but it’s not TOO plain and it’s common enough that people recognize it and know how to spell it, but I rarely encounter other Monicas.
There are so many people with my first name, it’s not even funny!
But my name is Sara (no “H” at the end, pleeez ), which means “princess”. It’s of Hebrew origin. (Haha Roflcoptinator… let’s both talk about girly names and meanings!!) My middle name is “Beth” which means “consecrated to God”. (And I have no clue what the origin is… probably Latin or Anglo-Saxon…) I mean, I have a beautiful name and all, but I would definitely change my middle name (at least) if I could… probably to “Elisabeth” or “Miranda”.
I’m crazy about the meanings of names, and I already have the names for my kids picked out… I’ll tell you the meanings of them, but I won’t give away the names… (I don’t want anyone taking them, lol…)
Here’s the thing, my full first name (which I’m not going to give but I will give the shortened version) isnt spelled the way it’s supposed to be spelled. My mom for some crazy reason, spelled differently from any other way I’ve seen it. But anyway, here’s what I came up with-
Julie
Gender: Female
Origin: Latin
Meaning: Soft-Haired
Julian-From the Roman name Iulianus, which was derived from JULIUS. This was the name of the last pagan Roman emperor, Julian the Apostate (4th century). It was also borne by several early saints, including the legendary Saint Julian the Hospitaller. This name has been used in England since the Middle Ages, at which time it was also a feminine name (from Juliana, eventually becoming Gillian).
I’ve always known my name had Ancient Roman roots, duh, hello, Julius Caesar. And since I have a moderate interest in ancient Rome, I find that doubly cool.
My name means grace of God, but I’m not going to say it, cause I’m not exactly allowed to. I know no one can search me up, but I still don’t feel comfortable with it.
moving on…
I can’t believe you don’t like it! I love the name Laura. It’s one of my favorite names in the whole wide world. One of my closest friends is named Laura, and I adore her.
My name is the most popular girl name as of 2007. Emily. But if you saw my class, you’d think the most popular would be Ashley. But nope. My name according to statistics is the most popular girl name. I don’t know if it is more popular than the most popular guy name or not. Well, time to look up my name!!!
Here’s some statistics:
Gender: female (duh!)

Fun fact: There are 74 variations of the name Emily.
Amy is one of them, and in the old anime Sailor Moon, I’m most like her. Weird. . .
