Yesterday I met Claudio Corsi at the Miami Airport. He was nominated for a Latin Grammy as the best new artist. I got an autograph and a pic with him! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and
I seen lots of famous people from afar. I’m not sure if these people are as widely known as celebs, but people I’ve actually met were Eric Goldberg (big time Disney character animator), Alan Silverman (The Simpsons supervising animator). That was last week. Last year, I met the entire cast of The Powerpuff Girls, including Craig McCracken, and my favorite voice actress ever, Tara Strong. <3
I still have yet to meet Brad Bird and James Baxter. There are a lot of studio heroes I want to meet, but those two are way up there.
Not sure how many of you will know the ‘famous’ people i have met… They are more famous to me
I met charlotte, who is the bassist fromt eh subways
I met Matt Skiba, he signed my arm and i got it tattooed on there.
I also got to meet Michel Evis which was one of the most surreal/ awesome moments ever.
Animator wise i havnt met anyone famous but my lecutrer at uni has worked on films such as Star Trek Nemises and The Day After Tomorrow so i guess thats worth a mention
I met Sean Astin and Billy Boyd at a Lord Of The Rings convention. I also met artist Colleen Doran at the same place and I got to hang out with her, which was great!
I’ve met Ozzy Osbourne and the late, great Randy Rhodes, plus Ozzie’s kids when they were still little tiny tykes. I’ve met James Hetfield of Metallica(cool, down-to-earth guy), Duff McKagen of Velvet Revolver(formerly of Guns 'N Roses),several of SC’s Governors, herpetologist Mark O’Shea(who used to have a show on Animal Planet), Slayer guitarist Kerry King(a world-reknown authority on Boa Constrictors, by the way), and while I’ve not met him in person, I’ve talked with Slash(also of Velvet Revolver and formerly of Guns 'N Roses) via the phone and by live internet chat. That was also about snakes, not music.
Met the whole cast of Family Guy. Seth, Alex, Mila, Mike Henry (not Seth Green. He left as soon as the FG Live show was over). I had helped out a bit for the webmaster of AlexBorstein.com so he invited me to the Family Guy Live show and I met them in the green room after the show. Day before the series went back on air before the last cancellation. If only I had known then how terrible the return was going to be.
cool Count me jealous. I’d love to meet them. The closest I’ve come to meeting a Beatle was when I saw Ringo pulling out in his car after a concert. He was doing a peace sign out the window. As for people I’ve actually met, most would only be considered “famous” by certain people. As opposed to the general public, I mean. The most famous would probably have been former Indians shortstop, Omar Visquel. I’ve met people who have connections to the Beatles, acquaintances, friends, wives, relatives, people they worked with, etc.
I never met anyone, only saw Tyra Banks walk by at the Magic Kingdom. Her ‘guards’ made it quite obvious she was there by talking backstage loudly about “Tyra”. I don’t care for her though, so it doesn’t matter to me.
I met Brian Dennehy right in the middle of New York City. He was coming back from the grocery store and he had a little push-cart full of groceries, but he stopped what he was doing to pose for pictures. A true sweetheart of a man!
I’ve met Clint Eastwood on two entirely separate occasions that had nothing to do with film, or autographs. Once it was a shopping trip, and the other time was years before when he owned a restaurant in the resort town (Carmel). He’s got that certain charisma, but he’s very polite and "What You See Is What You Get.’
Kristi Yamaguchi was in a plane seat next to me. We chatted some, and she was nice as could be. Also flew back from the destination on the same plane, although we didn’t sit together.
The former President of Peru (Alejandro Toledo) came to see a show we did with his family. A very gracious and intelligent man.
