What other films should get rereleased...IN 3-D! ?

Which films should be rereleased for 3D?

  • A Bug’s Life
  • Monsters Inc.
  • Finding Nemo
  • The Incredibles
  • Cars
  • Ratatouille

I know we’ve had a few discussions about this on the site before, but I just wanted to see in an overall consensus which PIXAR films you think would be awesome in a digitally remastered IMAX 3D experience. Or on a 3D television.

For me, it would have to be Finding Nemo (with A Bug’s Life in a close second). I mean the underwater scenes were absolutely breathtaking on a 2D screen and I whole heartedly believe that 3D would enhance the depth and feel of the water, as well as the glistening light refraction.

Note: The reason I didn’t include Up or either of the Toy Story films was because they were all previously released in 3D (with the first two TS as rereleases). And Toy Story 3 is already slated for a 3D tv.

I’d have to say:

  1. WALL-E (wasn’t on the poll)
  2. Either A Bug’s Life or Finding Nemo

You forgot WALL-E. The only ones I would want to see in 3D are WALL-E and Finding Nemo. It’s kind of ironic because they’re just like those 30 minute IMAX things they have at museums (space and sea locales). :stuck_out_tongue:

Wall•e for sure. Then again, I remember feeling dizzy during the TS 1+2 double feature at the beginning of TS2, with the shot of space and stars. Just in general the movie had a lot of cool “3D potential” scenes. A Bug’s Life would be my second choice.
