Yes, that’s right. However, I remember some promos from my childhood, but vaguely - I have bad memory
Well, if I’m correct, they were released in Russia, but weren’t very popular.
I’ve seen them all in theatres (except Toy Story, a bug’s life, and The Incredibles)
I have seen Toy Story, A Bug’s life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Cars and The Incredibles and Toy Story 3 in the movie theater. I only have seen some of Wall-e and Ratatouille on television. I didn’t watch the whole movie for those two. I haven’t really seen Up. I am not really interested in Up, Ratatouille or Wall-e. I have to be interested in the movie more than liking the studio. I plan to watch Cars 2, Brave and Monsters Inc 2 in cinema. I consider myself a fan of Pixar even though I haven’t seen all of their movies.
In the cinema I saw:
Finding Nemo
Ratatouille
Toy Story 3
I think that’s it. I didn’t even know that Toy Story existed till it was on video…never saw a trailer for it before that. And I didn’t watch much TV then. Disney didn’t do a good job of advertising it…I read a book about Pixar and it sounds like Disney expected it to flop.
I was born on the year Toy Story came out, but I didn’t see any Pixar films in the cinema until Toy Story 2. From then on, every time a new Pixar film came out, I’d go out to see it (possibly on the opening days). Oh, and I forgot to see Up when it was in theaters–I did see the teaser trailer, however, and it was actually shown in my church once! So this year I went to see Monsters University on opening day (after gaining back my tradition with Toy Story 3 on its opening day), and now I can’t wait to see The Good Dinosaur–possibly on opening day. So, besides Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, and Up, I have seen every other Pixar film in the cinemas! And of course, I always watch for the teaser trailers of the next release.
While Monsters Inc. was the first Pixar film I ever saw, Finding Nemo was the very first film I saw in theaters (fact: one of the reasons I was excited for FN was because I loved MI and knew they were both Pixar! I was a Pixar fangirl in the making!), and I managed to see almost every Pixar film from then on. Somehow, I missed Cars… and I was so hyped for it, too! But there were a lot of other films out that year. I haven’t missed one since Ratatouille as of now. And considering I saw the Toy Story 3D Double Feature and Monsters Inc 3D, I have theatrically seen every film except ABL and Cars, and if those get rereleased in 3D, I’ll have seen all of them! Here’s hoping… seeing Pixar films in theaters is always an incredible experience!
