What s the name of the song that plays when

The little green men are driving barbie s corvette in andys play sequence?

Thanks

Its not a song by itself, its part of “Cowboy!” in the TS3 soundtrack.

It was made exclusively for the movie.
Fun fact: This was the song that was used in the temp soundtrack. youtube.com/watch?v=EQ96oEwYrE8

But the soundtrack plays the guitar solo only for a few seconds, in the special features of the dvd ( TOYS! to be exactly) when they are talking about lotso s gang, an extended version of the solo can be heard, any idea where i can find it?

I’m guessing you’d only find it on the pixar studio store exclusive version of the soundtrack. good luck with that.

Someone should start a thread about temporary music. I recall that Toy Story used some music from The Empire Strikes Back and Back to the Future.

And back on topic, basically what Kyle said. Probably the same case as the Pizza Planet truck music (and I really liked that, too).

Bryko, whats your source for that info? the temp version of the sound track hasn’t been heard by most people has it? Lee said on twitter that its not on the blu ray for copyright reasons. how were you able to see/hear it?

An interview or something? There was probably a good number of people who saw the test market footage (which is how I found out for Toy Story), so possibly word of mouth.

Wasn’t that song, “Electric Eye” from Judas Priest? Wikipedia says it, and it sure does sound like it.

Okay, just gave it a listen, and it only sounds like the LGMs’ song in the very beginning. I wish Newman would make a full, two minute piece of that tune the LGM’s played.

I just had a funny thought - what if the LGM’s were instead playing that heavy rap, “GET SOME” song from the Megamind trailer when Megamind’s getting all suited up?

There’s a Pixar studio store TS3 CD?

pixarblog.blogspot.com/2010/08/t … track.html

I didn’t know they sold it! Thanks, Kyle!

Do you have access to it or something?

No. I was just thinking. I’d love to send them money to buy it.

I don’t think that’s really possible though, the store is only for the crew. so unless you worked there or happened to get lucky and get offered a tour (which is pretty uncommon I hear for Pixar) you wouldnt be able to get anything from their store.

Unfortunately, you’re right. I tried calling Pixar today. On a high note, the introduction system is funny, and the hold music was from TS2.
