Well betta fish attack each other. Theyre known to be vicious. Trust me it happend to my cousins. And even if the these cetain 2 fish dont seem it its better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah. But they just kind of ram into each other I mean they dont have teeth… But gold fish arent like that

For sure you can’t have males together. You should only put a male and female together if you are breeding them. The most compatible way is to put two females together, but they can get aggressive sometimes too.

Another important thing you should know is not to put any closely related species with bettas, including angelfish. There are others too.

Here are my two bettas, I hope I’ve done the attachments thing right. The blue ones a total poser (Argo) and Ceres the red one is a little camera shy so it’s not a good photo but you can see his amazing bright blue eyes.

Thanks I’m actually thinking of getting a 3rd one (I’d get heaps if I had the room!), but I need to go get a tank first. Have you ever bred any betta’s before? I don’t think I ever would because it just seems so hard and I’d be so upset if all the babies died

Someone we know is giving away a kitten. I’d love to have it. But I doubt we’ll get him, because we already have a dog, a cat, and two rabbits. Not to mention my sister’s FFA projects.
