Yep, you got them right! And there are girls. Each country has a brother and sister, I just haven’t used any girls as an avvie yet.
EJE: Brother and sister countries? 
That’s kinda weird. Like, are they related by culture or history or something? I’d thought boyfriends and girlfriends would work better.
Oh, and besides the fact they’re boys, why are they all BLONDE? 
SoA: I love the fact Nigel is modeled on an Aston Martin Racing DB9, as evidenced by the legendary angel wings logo on his bonnet and the honeycomb grille.
I don’t think Ellie meant every country is sibling with another, but that each country is represented by both a male and a female character.
And I love the fact that they’re brothers and sisters. I love siblings!
And about the Asto Martin, haven’t you seen my cars models post? Nobody commented on it
Yep! For example there is Brother Canada and Sister Canada. And countries do have relationships for each other. For example, Sister Mexico dated Brother America for a while. But now they’re not a part. One comic had Mexico, America and Canada eating breakfast, and there was a wall of cereal between America and Mexico, like the wall they’re building in real life.

IV: My point is that not all Scandinavians are blonde… they could chuck in a redhead or brunette or something, just sayin’. 
SoA and EJE: That would make sense too. It would be sexist if they defined certain countries as ‘male’ and others as ‘female’, so that’s a great workaround.

Spirit’s Pirate fever is infectious! I’m really eager to see Stranger Tides because it promises to be a ‘back-to-basics’ for the franchise. 
But then again, the whole web comic is based off of sterotypes. (mostly from a Danish perspective). At least they have different shades of blonde!
