“Vision of Love” by Mariah Carey. Which I can’t say I’ve ever heard. Actually, I recognize a lot more of the songs that were #1 on my birthday in the two decades before I was born than in the years since. And “Sh-Boom” was #1 that day back in '54, that’s pretty cool!

“Love Takes Time”, by Mariah Carey. Never heard the song, but since it’s by Mariah Carey, I don’t think I’ll like it!
I have heard that song before lizardgirl. I will say that it is a really nice song, but I ain’t a Mariah Carey fan as well. Still a good song.
I remember that one. It’s pretty good - it’s a song about a friend of hers who was fighting with a drug addiction. She used to be on a show called Kids, Incorporated, and her name was Marta back then, but I think she changed it to sound more exotic or something like that. (Trivia: one of her Kids, Inc. co-stars was Stacy Ferguson, who is singing back-up on this song. Stacy went on to become… drum roll… pop-megastar Fergie.)
My song is “The Reflex” by Duran Duran. It’s cool, but pretty far down on my list of Duran Duran faves.
