What was your first gaming experience?

Pokemon, duh. That’s like the first gaming experience for 50% of people. ;-p

I believe my first gaming experience was Rayman on the Dreamcast (anyone remember them? ), and then when I was 5 I got a Gameboy for my birthday and I had Super Mario Deluxe and one of the Pokemon games

That was a long time ago. I think it was Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo Entertanment System (SNES). I still have the SNES and the games. I guess I just liked running around in an weild land and stomping and killing stuff. I was about 4 or 5.

My first gaming experience was Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64. I was probably around 4 or 5 though.

My first known experience was a semi-violent game called Quake. I was like 6 when i first played it and i recall that i even played better than my 29-year old dad at that point.

My first game was probably Mario Kart 64, in a hotel or something, when I was 2-3 years old. I got a Game Boy Color when I was 3 with Toy Story 2 and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, which was the first game system I actually owned. Plus I had some educational games for PC.

First, it was Mario Bros. The one that I was completely 100% aware and obsessed was Super Mario All Stars, Mario Kart, and Street FIghter.

My first gaming experience was in '97 when I was 2 years old. I was playing Sonic The Hedgehog (dont know which one) on the Sega Genesis. The first time I felt like a gamer though was when I got a brand new Nintendo 64, along with Super Mario 64. That game is one of my single favorite memories of my childhood. Then somewhere along the line I got addicted to Pokemon Sapphire and Emerald, and then Animal Crossing. Then I re-discovered Super Mario with the Nintendo DS version. All that changed forever when I was finally allowed to get Grand Theft Auto 4…

Violet Nirvana: Oh Grand THeft Auto. Good game. I believe when I reached my high school years is where I started becoming a serious gamer.

Haha, I remember my dad letting me play GTA: Vice City when I was 10 or 11 and my mum getting really angry at him because of it! 8D

I also played GTA when I was 10. I think it was GTA 3.

Yeah, I remember when I first played Vice City, i was hooked for life.

While Mario was my first nintendo game experience, my first Sega game experience was Sonic The Hedgehog 2.

Wow, TSS, I’m pretty sure that game was the first game I ever experienced!

I actually never got past the 3rd area because I was so young.

All I remember is the fact that my eyes hurt really bad after playing because the levels were so bright and crazy looking. I didn’t get the chance to play much after I was 5 though, somehow my Sega broke. Then I got a Nintendo 64.

My first gaming experience in an arcade was at Nickel City. The first game I played there was Bucky O’Hare.

Thats awesome, TSS! I like arcades a lot.

anyone still have thier first system?

I still have the second one I ever had. a Nintendo 64.
