What were the saddest scenes?

What do yall think were the saddest scenes?

I think when the "Our

Town" will have to be one of the more solemn ones for me. Also, when Lightnig had to leave, that one made me

quiet.

The part when Lightning had 2 leave and when they found

out that Doc called them just Shocked me.

OT(off topic): Where hav you been L&S? Hadn’t spoke to

you for a few days.

Oh, one sad part I thought was seeing the King crash,

then it fades into Doc’s crash. That was powerful.

^^ Ya

that.

Oh

goodness, there were so many heart-tugging and moving parts in that film. Guess I’ll just have to narrow it down

to my preferred “favorites”:

1. Lightning’s

Realization - This particular moment focuses on the scene where McQueen realizes that his friend

count is practically zero, if even. For some reason, that moment really got

me

2. Our Town - Obviously. One of the most

emotional moments in the film occurs during the Our Town score/song. It’s

beautiful, it’s touching, and it makes you think.

3. A Talk

with Doc - In this case, I am referring to the part where Doc reveales to Lightning why he left

his racing career in the dust and wound up in the lonely town of Radiator Springs. Doc himself reminds me of an

old grandfatherly-type of “person”, and his depressing backstory just added to the

drama.

4. Terror on the Tracks - The crash of

the legendary “King” practically made me jump out of my seat in surprise, simply from its tramatism and

the realization of what had just happened.

So yeah, there are alot of great moments that makes one cover

his mouth with his hands in surprise
or take out the tissues

Bleh, pretty much what Mitch just said. :/

Other than that, everything else was just fine. Oh yes,

when Mater went “my best friend.” now that was a real trigger.

yeah, there were a lot of touching

moments in the movie. the “worst” ones for me, the saddest ones, are:

 • in doc’s

garage, when he tells his story, that he wasn’t given a chance to show that he still could race

after his accident, and was replaced by the next rookie in line,

 • when the road is

fixed and everyone wonders where lightning might be or whether he has gone already. in this scene,

sally sadly turns away. she looks so lost and sad in this scene, that i always feel the urge to hug her,

 • when lightning has to say goodbye to sally, and both are fighting back

their tears (my absolute favourite),

 • when lightning is gone and doc is left

all alone on the crossing, and the lights are turned off, it is dark, and he sadly watches the traffic lights

change. i think in this scene he realizes his mistake

Well here are some scenes where I really felt it

-when Doc tells Lightning about his

past and how he ended up not being in the racing circuit anymore. How there was still a lot left in him and he

“never got a chance to show em”

-When Lightning is saying goodbye to sally and the press are

pretty much forcing him into his trailer. the music there is so fitting! then once Doc realizes what he has done

and you can tell he feels awful about it

-when the King crashes at the end. this is where is almost

started crying, it was so sad! Even now when I see that it gets me a little misty.

I am not sure if this

would count for a sad scene, but the line “it’s just an empty cup” really got me. Lightning lost, but

he learned a lesson, even though I was cheering for the guy.

I only almost cried near the end when Chick made the King

crash. :frowning:

I am going to sound like a tough guy. I didn’t cry in that part, but when I was in the movie theaters, there were a bunch of tiny kids there who were just bawling. Both on The King’s crash and that Lightning lost.

I once cried at the part when Lightning had to say goodbye to Sally.

One of the saddest moments, in my opinion, is also one of the funniest. It’s when McQueen is saying goodbye to all his new Radiator Springs friends, and they all realize their going to miss him! :frowning:

But then BAM McQueen pulls a funny one and hadn’t left at all!

Agreed. I got very teary eyed when that took place.

I thought

it was pretty inspiring and jaw dropping. I didn’t cry, but I could understand why people cried during that

part.

I thought that was really moving when

Lightning went to help the King.

When the King crashed, I was not sad so much as shocked, and I thought

“Oh No! Don’t let him be dead!”

I knew something was going to

happen when the King’s wife told him to “be careful out there
” It was just a terrible moment of

foreshadowing
but I was hoping it wouldn’t happen, but I knew someone was going to

get hurt

Poor Strip Weathers
I was happy to see him in the end all fixed up
I wish the King had a

bigger part in the movie. Is he in the video game at all?

Hi

BorntothePurple, and welcome to Pixar Planet! Yes, The King is in the video game and

you can play as him. =D

Yes, King is in the

game!

I know most of his sayings, but can’t quite figure out some of the words!

My fave saying,

actually sounds quite intimedating! When you choose him he says: ‘So, you think you can race do ya?’
What

else does he say??? Uh

OK, you made a good choice right there (I think)
Something ‘Dog’?
Alright!

(Sounds very
kiddie like to me lol)
Thats how ya do it!
