Hey all!
so on your iPod, MP3, music library etc…which Letter has the most CD names?
for instance…I have 44 albums in the “S” section on my iPod Touch.
I’m weird, but it’d be interesting to find out what letter has the most albums in it!

I have a total of 83 artists. I hve a ton of Beatles, Who, Monkees, Aerosmith, and Queen songs
Over 100 songs by the Beatles…(I’m a bit obsessive) my friends laugh when they listen to my ipod on shuffle because nearly every song is a Beatles song…and I have a lot of spanish reggatone (sp?) music…which I was introduced to in spanish class…Juanes Fotografia is one of my favorites
and I have tons of Broadway music…a lot from 13! the musical…tons of classic Rock, The Rolling Stones…
A lot of contemporary Rock too…Cute Is What We Aim For, The Fray (another one of my favs…I have every album!) , Phoenix…
Some pop too, Mika being my favorite (saw his concert last year for my birthday! Amazing!)
and so much more! haha.
Haha A BIT obsesssed with The Beatles? lol naaaah I have 200 plus Paul McCartney and Winngs, Traveling Wilburys, and tons of their solo work :3
LOL. Its nice to know there’s someone out there more obsessed! God i envy you now! haha. The Beatles probably have someone obsessed on a new level though…
Actually I know someone far more obsessed than me in fact, she cried over a TV program talking about the Beatles; when she told me, I gave her this look —> -_-" wow
Not to brag HelloDolly114, but I have exactly 214 Beatles’ songs on my iPod. That would be every song they ever recorded minus a few off of the White Album and the Past Masters collection. Haha. I totally go through the same thing on shuffle!
Other than that, I have 395 songs from movies and musicals. I love musical theater!
And other than that, I mostly have Pop rock from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Bassicaly any song you might here on an Oldies radio station. I do have some Wings songs as well
And yeah, Mika is great! I don’t have any songs from the new album, but I have a few from the first.
My favorite band is Chicago. Then Fleetwood Mac! Then the Beach Boys.
After the Beatles, Chicago has the most songs on my iPod.
Oh, and I have a lot of Elton John and Billy Joel.
I have 1217 songs in total. I really need a gift card, though; I want to buy “California Gurls”. Haha, I do already have “California Girls” though, by the Beach Boys. Both are good songs.
“Suspicious Minds” by Elvis Presley is my most played song with 78 plays, followd by “Suspicous Minds” (also Elvis) and then “Being Alive”, arguably the best song in all of musical theater - from Stephen Sondheim’s Company.
I’ve also really gotten into indie rock lately, so I’m trying to build up in that genre. I have three Doctor Dog albums; they are so good!
I also really like old time singers, like Frank Sinatra and especially Dean Martin.
Then, being a child of the 1990s, I obviously love N*Sync and Backstreet Boys.
And of course, Lady Gaga.
Most of the songs on my iPod are generic epic cinematic trailer music. You know, the ones with the choir and orchestra? I just love listening to trailer music because it make the most mundane things in life seem really dramatic and amazing. For example, I’lll be doing homework or taking a walk, but then I start playing “Here Comes the King” by X-Ray Dog, and I feel like I’m saving the world from zombie alien ninjas! I also have a lot of Pixar soundtracks.
The rest of my songs are completely random, with no rhyme and reason, because I like any and all types of music! Like seriously, I have everything from hardcore dirty south ganster rap, to Beethoven and Chopin, to Coltrane and the Dave Brubeck Quartet, to classic rock, to Taylor Swift, to Basshunter!
“A” wins with 568 songs. I’m not going by albums because my ipod is messy and not everything has an album tag. I have 4894 songs all together, 1168 artists, and 1284 album (listed at least)
here’s a breakdown:
Armen Hambar - 84 tracks
Audio Machine - 293 tracks
Blackmore’s Night - 27 tracks
Bond - 29 tracks
Daft Punk - 70 tracks
Dispatch - 66 tracks
Evanescence - 75 tracks
Flogging Molly - 40 tracks
Hans Zimmer - 74 tracks
Immediate Music - 149 tracks
Jamie Cullum - 29 tracks
John Williams - 37 tracks
M-flo - 35 tracks
Nobuo Uematsu - 35 tracks
Two Steps From Hell - 130 tracks
X-Ray - 64 tracks
Those big numbers come from trailer music composers and are generally shorter than the average radio edited song.
I love me some music
Nice, Haunt! It looks like you’re a fellow trailer music enthusiast also!
Have you ever listened to Future World Music? They have some downright epic and awe-inspiring tracks. Them and X-Ray Dog are my favorites.
I have on my 8GB 2nd Gen iPod Touch running iOS 4.0, a lot of songs.
I listen to a lot of the following:
Crush 40 ← oh, yeah…
Hardline
Owl City/Sky Sailing
Paul Minshall
Lifehouse
Jun Senoue
Martin O’Donnell’s Halo soundtrack
Sarah McLachlan (When She Loved Me)
Sheryl Crow (Real Gone)
And then I love my podcasts. Especially Leo Laporte and the TWiTs on twit.tv.
Wow… I’m the odd ball here. Haha!
I basically only listen to Christian rock. Not the stuff that plays on the Christian radio stations. I listen to Christian hard rock, punk, a little mettle but mostly hard rock. I’ve only known one other girl that listens to hard Christian rock.
Right now I’m listening to MXPX, they’re Christian punk… at least they say they’re Christian.
My favorite bands are:
BarlowGirl
TFK (Thousand Foot Krutch)
Britt Nicole
Daughtry (I know they’re not Chrsitian )
Fm Static (they’re not Christian either. The lead singer for the band is the lead singer for TFK)
Skillet
I lost my ipod last year, that had so much albums on it! I got an itouch last week, and it’s empty compared to all of yours! So the most albums I have under 1 letter is “M” with 6
*Make Believe-Weezer
*Man of La Mancha- The New Broadway Cast
*Mary Poppins- Original Soundtrack
*Miss Saigon 1995 Disc 1
*Miss Saigon 1995 Disc 2
*Move Along- All American Rejects
If you love Country music,Bluegrass, Disney songs, Pixar songs, Jazz, music, and Broadway, you’ll LOVE my ipod!
I just got a new 32 gig iPod Touch 3g for my birthday. As far as music goes, I have 539 songs in total (pretty lame judging from some of your guy’s song count ) 171 of those songs are Green Day songs, then I also have a bit of Blink 182, Sum 41, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foxboro Hottubs, and Nirvana (of course I have a ton of other artists, those are just the biggies )
I also have a bunch of apps, a few movies, a bunch of Pixar shorts, some TV shows (like Chuck, pretty much my new favorite TV show), and a few music videos too. I also got podcasts called “Stuff You Should Know” and “Stuff You Missed in History Class”
Overall, Green Day is my favorite band evar!
Holy guacamole mo, I just got a 32 gig Ipod Touch 3rd gen recently, and I have exactly 539 songs!!!
It’s a government conspiracy, I tell ya!!!
Wow, that’s really weird. What are the odds? Like, seriously xD
