I got my birthday present from my mom today! It’s the Cars 2 soundtrack. 
I’ve been listening to it all day.

Yeah, I got to watch it! I remember liking it a lot back when I first saw it but love it way more now. Probably gonna go swimming in a bit. My friend made me cupcakes! 
I bought shoes today and am going to watch Rango tonight with my brother and friend.
I was planning on going to see a movie with my friends Saturday night, but my mom won’t let me go.

Ok, now I really need to convince my mom to let me go to that movie, because I just found out that Kara (this cute girl who I’ve known for about three years) is going. I think you guys can see where I’m going with this, right? The only thing is, I just found out they are to going to see some R-rated movie. I need to remember to live that little detail out when telling my mom. If she asks me what it’s rated, I’m probably just gonna say PG-13. I need to convince her to let me go! I’m done all my homework this week, so maybe if I tell her that if she’ll let me go, I’ll keep getting good grades. I’m a genius! I’ll let you guys know what she says. I honestly could care less about the movie (I think it’s Final Destination or something), I seriously just wanna go because Kara is going.
^…Not to sound like a nag, but I don’t think it’s right to lie over that sort of thing. Well, has she let you watch R-rated movies in the past? Do you know what type of content it’s rated for?
^ Well, thankfully I didn’t have to tell her about the rating. She just said that she would think about it. And I’ve only seen one R-rated movie before, and the movie my friends are going to see is Final Destination 5. I actually knew nothing about it, but I did some research and it sounds good (it also sounds like the kind of thing that would give me nightmares…). My mom just wanted to know what movie theater they were going to, and what time the movie was. I might end up changing my mind about going, but I don’t know…
