What's on your mind? (Status Updates)

YDDD cool i havent tried to mess with that stuff yet because it already confuses me enough as it is =_= and i get so distracted by the pictures i just zone out and i’m in zombie mode clicking the download button or Save As… YDDD

I’m just really concerned and stressed about College/Transfering/and Academics.

Just finished a book by Frank Peretti… it was pretty weird. It had to do with an academy that didn’t exist, and gravity was upside down; a place of continual fear, but it was all just a mind trick.

It was actually pretty good. If ya wanna look it up, it’s called Nightmare Academy. My friend let me borrow a couple of her suspense/mystery books and that book (along with another one of Peretti’s books, called Hangman’s Curse, in case you might want to look that up, too) was one of the first ones I read.

I basically read them both in a matter of two days. I love suspense and mystery.

School.

I miss you guys and wish I could come here more often. But darn school is in the way and I have homework that’s miles high. Although I love my school. Vote Katie for student council homeroom rep!

Grandparents are over, A Bug’s Life playing in the other room, and I gotta finish history with dad.

My sister and I just discovered that Lady Gaga is a descendent from Porky Pig.

EJE: Is that legit, or is that something you guys made up?

Really really wishing I could dance right now. I watch some of my friends, who have this insane talent for dancing, and can only imagine how freeing it feels. If I could even learn a few simple, but interesting, moves, I’d be the happiest girl alive. Though, I’m too worried that I’m going to look dumb, because my friend who’s been taking dance for 13+ years basically tells me all the time that I’m a lost cause. x___x

little chef

ha, we made it up. We listed like five of her top songs and realized she stutters/repeats herself more than Porky Pig. It gets annoying after the second song…

Haha, I saw something like that posted on Facebook… “P-p-p-poker face, Ale-ale-jandro, ju-ju-just dance… Lady Gaga has a stutter problem.” xDD

little chef

Haha, I read that on Facebook yesterday!

K9Girl: Lol, from who?

Papaparazzi!

My friend. She’s always liking pages, and that was one of them.

Say what! There’s a page gos and finds it and likes it

Well there is alot of things on my mind mostly if I am doing the right thing. Lets just say there is one way that’s the right way (or so it seems) but It’s not the way I want to go and then there is the way I wanna go but it seems wrong… I don’t know what to do. :frowning:

In a pretty silly mood. I was watching YouTube Poop all day, what do you expect?

I feel pretty good. I made someone mad, I think, but I know everything will be okay.

Today would of been the 98th birthday of my favorite animator Chuck Jones.
He was one of the 5 Looney Tune directors back in the 1940s to 60s. He also worked on Tom and Jerry and directed the animated version of 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas"

In 1994, Animation Historian Jerry Beck consulted 1,000 people in the Animation Industry to make a book called “The 50 Greatest Cartoons”
20% of the cartoons chosen were directed by Chuck Jones, and 4 of the top 5 were directed by him (What’s Opera Doc, Chuck Amuck, Duck Dodgers in the 24th and 1/2 Century, and One Froggy Evening)

Sorry for the spiel!

EDIT: I was watching a documentery of Chuck Jones, and they interviewed John Lasseter! Lasseter basically said that the work of Chuck Jones is the greatest influence on him, and he said that most of his favorite cartoons were directed by Jones.

That’s really awesome, EJE!!! Was it on the history channel?

Mood: okay
Reason: I’m about to leave for school

Hope everything goes well for you, IV.
e-j-e, whoa! I had no idea! May you rest in peace Chuck Jones; there is no denying the influence you left on the animation industry, and people all around the world.

Virginia: Nope, it’s on youtube! If you’re interested to see more about Lasseter, here’s a link to the documentery. John Lasseter is at 3:15 to 3:56. He’s also later on in the documentery few times also.

Leirin: Glad to see another fan!
