I love make up and heels. Even though I am a kid still. I love heels. I can fit womans heels size 5 and 6. And most are heels. But I will be super weird if I wear them when I am 10.

I’m 21 years old and I’ve never seen myself in make-up. I’m not morally opposed to it or anything, but I have noticed a lot of girls who look beautiful with make-up but suddenly don’t wear it one day and there’s a dramatic decrease in their prettiness (and I say this as someone who isn’t terribly shallow—honest!). In other words, I don’t want to rely on make-up as a crutch, but I’d like to see how it could sort of accent my looks.

Also, I want to try wearing heels! I’m already a huge dress wearer—in fact, I despise pants most of the time—so I just need to take that a little further and feel comfortable wearing something that’s not a flat. I’ve been feeling girly lately. Can you tell?

I agree with what you said about make-up, so I think the trick to avoid looking really different to people’s eyes is to alternate going natural and in make-up, so that everyone adapts to both versions of your face. Girls who are ALWAYS in make-up can really surprise others when they don’t wear it one day.

Now… if you’ve never tried it, then maybe the opposite will happen to you. As people is only adapted to see you without it, I bet you’ll positively astonish them when you suddenly decide to use it. That could be useful one day

Same goes with heels. They make a lot more difference than you would think for such a small thing, but they take a while to adapt. But as a dress lover, I bet you’ll enjoy them a lot.

Go check 'em out! To change your board style, go to Profile, then click on the tab that says “Board preferences”. Scroll down, and there should be a drop-down box that has the different board styles in it.

I’ve worn makeup before, but I don’t do it regulary. I just am fine without it, I don’t want to waste money for something that I would end up relying on, like you pointed out.

I don’t think I’d be the type to wear make-up or heels on a regular basis, but it’d be nice to feel comfortable enough with both so I can on special occasions (from events such as a job interview to holiday parties to weddings, and so on). You make a good point about the money issue, too. I’m going to stick to vegan make-up, but I’ve found some affordable brands.

I have some shoes with kitten heels so I’m just going to get accustomed to those and then work up, although I’m not sure I want to wear stiletto heels ever. Too clumsy for that.
