I am going to sleep.
Just ate some breakfast.
We just started to teach in the university we graduated from.
A big mosquito got in my room yesterday. It was really annoying.
SOA, what are you teaching? I would love to teach film history/analysis classes.
A rather large tree fell down (whole—in its entirety) next to some of the academic buildings here. It’s a very blustery day. When I was working earlier sudden gusts of wind came from nowhere and huge branches would fly into the building. The gym is also closed because of a power outage, which is rather unfortunate seeing as how I actually wanted to go there later. If only it was snowing; we would surely have a snow day!
EDIT
Aaaaand at least one more tree has fallen down, and from what I understand it’s a large one. That makes two friends who have almost been hit by trees, at least according to Facebook!
A rough translation of the class name would be Audiovisual Arts.
It’s mostly film history, but also involves some technical teaching, like camera work, lighting and things like that. It’s supposed to be about other media besides film (television and radio), but there’s no much focus on those.
I watched a rock concert.
Oh wow! That is crazy! Crazy cool!
Spirit: That is so cool! Next semester I’m taking Film Apprication, and after that Film History. Or other way around, I haven’t decided which to take yet.
We were in our first class today, and met the class.
By the way, I’d advice you to take them the other way around
Yay for film classes, eje!
I’m almost done with season 2 of “Buffy” in only a week. Something tells me by the time I finish the series, which may very well be in 3 weeks to a month, I will suffer from withdrawal.
I’m going to need a haircut soon.
"I’ll go for a walk and possibly a bike ride today.
Need to fill out an application today.
I watched some great footage of Led Zeppelin playing live.
I am going to play a game on the internet.
I know, I’m so stoaked. I haven’t taken any classes for my film studies minor yet.
I am going for a bike ride right now.
I wish I didn’t have to get up this morning.
A fellow film studies minor! High five. That seems like a good fit for you.
I’ve already fulfilled my minor long ago but I continue to take film classes offered by my favorite professor. Next is a class focusing on Krzysztof Kieslowski and Roman Polanski. I’m surprised my university was able to get him as a professor; one of my classmates referred to him as the “Roger Ebert” of Poland (his home country) and sometimes I’ll read an article or book about film and spot his name.
What’s the name of the Polish Ebert?
