I hope so. Maybe I’m overreacting a little about this whole thing. Maybe Brave WILL resurrect this forum, hopefully. I remember joining this forum after Toy Story 3, which was very popular. If Brave is just as good then this site will become popular.
I definitely hope the same thing^^.
I finished Queen’s show in Drammen: 4/12/1982, it was enjoyable, but Freddie’s voice had some problems.
I concur that summer will likely be busier, whether or not the forum is indeed declining in popularity (which I don’t doubt). There’s summer break for the people still in school but more importantly the newly released Pixar movies to talk about! I think whether or not Brave is a Pixar-level success there will still be an increase in posts, even if many of those are complaining about the future of Pixar.
I think that pretty much sums it up^^.
That does make sense. I’d like to see that happen. If the forum is declining in popularity, then can’t something be done about it?
- Study advanced electrical engineering and computer programming
- Create helmets that will make the bearer an instant Pixar fan
- Use your amazing advertising skills to put one of these helmets in the hands of every global house-hold
- Sit back, and watch as this forum floods
Man, if only that was possible.
Watching The Big Country.
I quite enjoy your theory Chuckles. Yes, if only.
At least there’s some of us left. Maybe we could try to get new members here. This site was thriving with new members such as myself back in 2010. Maybe it was the popularity of Toy Story 3. If Brave is just as successful then they’ll probably be new fans.
And yeah, I’m gonna get to bed now. It’s nearly 1:00am in the morning where I am.
I am going to play Sims, and I am going to watch some videos.
If anyone like to paint their nails, here is a link to a girl that shows how to do cool designs: youtube.com/user/cutepolish/videos
Loved the last book I read, so I’ll gladly begin the reading of Taken at the Flood next.
I am going to play Sims again.
My next logo will be from one of the most important science fiction films.
Watching Get Low.
I don’t see the forums ever returning to what they once were. The main reason they were like that I think was because Toy Story 3 was coming. Once it came out on DVD, the boards started to decline. I don’t know if it has too doo with the relaunch. A few members may of left but not a lot. Brave might bring in some people, but it won’t be like it was in 2009/2010.
I watched Prince of Egypt.
Went for a bike ride and walk, and listening to some Led Zeppelin bootlegs now.
This week is the annual International Film Festival that my town hosts. There’s only one film that I’m planning to see- Chico & Rita. Which was nominated for Best Animated Film. And it’s being screened for only $1!
Well I did join after seeing Toy Story 3 so that would have been at a time when they were thriving. Most people are too busy since it’s a School Season right now, though I’m currently off college for a couple of weeks. But hey, with more free time on people’s hands during summer and the release of Brave (if it turns out to be one of their best) then the forums should maybe start thriving again. Probably not as much as the Toy Story 3 year, but close enough.
I wish I could go to something like that! Chicago obviously has a big one but I think it’s usually in October, when I’m at school. Enjoy the movie!
