Excellent. That was one of my favorite films last year.
I don’t know if anyone here has played the HER Interactive Nancy Drew computer games, but there are 25 of them that have been made in the last decade and I’ve played every single one, some several times. I’m not a general Nancy Drew fan, but the games are fun because they’re sort of like interactive movie mysteries.
Anyway, the newest one set in Egypt (!!!) is being released in only 2 weeks. Usually the games come out in the summer, like in July. I’m SO excited!!!
As much as we love mystery books and famous amateur sleuths, we’ve never get close to Nancy Drew.
Probably the reason is that while the character herself appears to be attractive enough, the fact that they’re juvenile novels makes us think the mysteries aren’t as satisfying as those of more seasoned authors in the genre. But maybe we’re wrong!
Anyway, those video games seem interesting.
We had our last day of school today. We did a swell job turning into a landfill and the other classes needed three hours to tidy everything up. Someone hung up a note reading “The gods of Olymp can provide you with trash bags”. Maybe I upload some photos from today (and from our preparation yesterday) up later. But I have some where no one’s on camera, these will be the ones I’ll upload. Then we had some little games with the teachers and other classes and said goodbye by naming each one of us and playing the number one hit song of the week at the time of the birth (mine was Scorpion Wind of Change).
Afterwards, we decided to cause some racket through town with honks, whistles and whatever we had. That was some fun, although I think I need a hearing aid device now
And now exams coming up, starting on Friday with German!
Hey Witch_of_Night, haven’t seen you around for a while.
Welcome back, Witch_of_Night. I hadn’t seen you in a long time.
Kinda confused on my divison with decimal numbers.
Yeah, school’s been kinda busy for the last months and since it was the last day today, I decided to check here once again. It’s great to be here again. Although I think I’ll be really back when exams are over (in June). Still, thanks for the welcome back’s, guys
But first pictures from yesterday XD
I think I’m going to miss the Rose Questions, a classmate sucking up to our teachers and our class teacher whining “I’m getting drunk tonight” when we were a pain
Great pictures! It’s so cool to see you back on here!
Like I said, I am not a fan of the book series and have only read the first title. However, I love the computer games. I can’t really judge whether they’re merely juvenile adventures or otherwise, but they do feature quite a bit of murders and dark themes. It’s funny, because the games are recommended for girls 10 and up but most people I have seen are much older than that, even my age. Not to mention some of the puzzles are way too hard for little kids, let alone myself.
Welcome back Witch Of Night.
