I just bought about $100 worth of Disney Blu Rays.
I got Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Alice in Wonderland, Princess and the Frog, The Fox and the Hound/The Fox and the Hound 2 combo pack and Pocahontas/Pocahontas 2 combo pack for $114. It would have been around $150 but the store I ordered them from had a 3 for 2 sale on Disney movies, so I decided to lash out and just buy them.
Either you aren’t talking about US dollars or that’s rather cheap! I just treated myself to The Lion King collector’s edition/gift set whatever that comes with a book and prints of sketches. It was released with the original DVD, which I’ve had for years, but I wanted the extra stuff and for it to complete my collection, which includes the Cinderella, Aladdin, and Snow White collector’s editions.
Very soon I’m going to leave to begin my Pixar marathon. I’m going to have to buy food so I have something to eat there , especially because I don’t want to be tempted to eat $10 popcorn all day. I’m going to be done around 7, I believe. The order goes: Up, WALL-E, Toy Story 3, and Ratatouille. I plan to cry at least twice.
Well, like I said, it was a 3 for 2 offer so I basically got Princess and the Frog and Pocahontas for free.
I was talking about Australian dollars, but it’s pretty much equal with the USD at the moment anyway.
