That is soooo neat! Getting to interact with your idols in any form or way is really one of the greatest feelings. Every time I’m feeling down I can remember that Brian May told me I was talented. I mean, wow!

Just got back from a family visit at our log cabin…and I am eating Chex Mix out of a Christmas tin.

Did everyone have a good Christmas?
Really??? Wow!!
My Christmas was okay. My grandma died the morning of Christmas Eve, and there was some drama about it. She was at the end stages of Alzheimer’s and had no quality of life, and I believe she’s in Heaven, but it’s still sad.
On the good side, my grandma (the one still living) gave us all a lot of money for Christmas. I thought that since she moved into a nursing home, she might give me less money or no money this year, and I was okay with that…but she ended up giving me twice the amount she normally gives me.
Just wondering, has anyone here read the Divergent series? Is anyone else excited to see the movie? I am!
Aww, I’m really sad to hear about your grandma who passed away Amy. 
I’m sure she is in better hands now though.
As for your other grandma—haha, relatives shock me from time to time with how generous they can be!! 
Mine felt bad for not having a gift this year so she sent quite a lot of money and told me to buy my own gift, lol! It’s greatly appreciated.
I kind of feel like I’m going against her wishes, though. I collect American Girl dolls and she doesn’t like it. She said “Don’t spend it on a doll!” …and that’s what I was going to buy. 
We’re building a Big Ben replica.

Aw, well too bad for her! IMO, if you are spending money on something you have a genuine interest in and know you’re going to enjoy for a long while to come, it’s worth the investment!
Her sister, who lives in the nursing home with her, likes dolls, and my grandma doesn’t get along with her, so maybe she associates it with her, so it annoys her or something. 
My family got a new cat about a month ago after our old cat Sari died in Augest. We named her Sophie and she’s a Russian Blue. She’s about 5 months old now and very playful. But she’s very demanding and can be a pig. She’s actally the first kitten we got, our first two cats were adults. We still haven’t had a puppy though since our old dog and current dog were adults.
