I’m one of the few that believe America is not going to go far. I feel that we’ve been lucky to this point, but this Cinderella story is gonna stop eventually.
Am I the only one who doesn’t give a hoot about all of this soccer and World Cup stuff? I’m just here waiting for the REAL football to return.

There is only one football as far as I’m concerned, and it involves a ball being passed with the hands, not the feet. Soccer is on its own, a much different–and not even half as exciting–sport.
I love American football too Grim Reaper, but I respectfully disagree with you saying that soccer is not as exciting. The WC comes once every 4 years, putting nation against nation. You don’t get that with American football. which is why the WC is something to be celebrated.
…I don’t usually care for sports (the exceptions being the summer and winter Olympics)…don’t worry I brought my own flame shield. 
I only watch major sporting events for the expensive commercials companies show during the breaks.

I, on the other hand, can’t believe one of the cats I’ve been pet-sitting wants to avoid me while the other wants to rub against me. Grr.
EDIT: To the last few posts above, I also know people often go mainly for the commercials during the SuperBowl in February. (Never mind. I don’t really care that much about sports.)
