Hmm, well, just don’t think you can make generalized statements like “(I) know that homosexuality is digusting” and somehow nullify it with a disclaimer like “(not referring to you or the previous posters)”. It…doesn’t work.
Anyway, I’m out of this particular thread for good. As a wise plastic green dinosaur ostensibly from Mattel once said, “I don’t like confrontations”. But maybe that’s because I don’t understand why people can’t generally try to be polite and respectful to one another, regardless of their opinions.

Okay, thank you for that, mods, and I apologise if anything in my own posts was interpretted as provoking or in any way a personal attack. That was honestly never my intention. Things were said recently in this thread which were hurtful to me, and I guess I let my exasperation show through, against my better judgement. I still think it’s a good idea for me to avoid this thread in the future, though, since religion-based discussions were never really my cup of tea.

First prove God exists then prove that he hates homosexuals.
I have my doubts about God but if he was real he can’t hate people who are born a certain way. Does he hate people with mental disorders?
Not agreeing with gay marriage is understandable but it’s not right to hate on homosexuals…unless they throw it in your face and annoy you about it.
I really do think this thread should be locked up now, as the conversation has turned to something that could easily hurt people’s feelings and become personal, even if it isn’t meant intentionally. After all, this is a Pixar forum, and although off-topic discussions are encouraged, when it goes a bit out of hand, as it has here, it’s so easy for people to get hurt.
Hence I’m going to lock it up for the time being.
