That sounds like fun! Maybe you’ll even get some Toy Story merchandise as a bonus for your party!
Oh, I’ve earned enough $ to purchase the TSC Woody and Jessie(I already have an accurate, in-scale Buzz). At my Disney Store, I get a free Woody/Jessie/Bullseye tote for spending more than $25, and my cake is going to be Toy Story 3!!! I’m so happy
Most likely I’ll see it sometime opening weekend if my friends are interested… they usually won’t go to the movies unless they feel like going out at the moment, even if they want to watch it. Even when it comes to leisure activities, my mates always do it last-minute. So opening night/midnight is out of the question for me. And most of our movie outings are at night after dinner on weekends, Mondays or Tuesdays.
If I still can’t get them to move their backsides, I’ll go by myself on a Student Monday/Cheap Tuesday after opening weekend, preferably in 2D. And if it impresses me enough, I might just take it to Imax 3D at Darling Harbour.
Midnight showing, if one of the theaters nearby my home has it. I’m dragging my boyfriend with… he actually does want to see the movie, but I think my fangirlishness is getting to him.
but that implies I would be seeing it the following day almost, instead of what is basically the 17th.
Edit: holy crap, I just realized I can now say Toy Story 3 will be out Next week! I remember when I was giddy being able to say TS3 comes out this year, and now its oh so close…
I wonder if this board’s activity will fizzle out once we no longer have anything to speculate about or review. haha
If not, I’m sure we’ll finally be going back to talking about other Pixar movies.
As for me, I’ll probably be seeing Toy Story 3 some time in the afternoon. I have a good friend who I’m going to see about going with. I’m also still deciding on whether or not to see it in 3D, which would make it my first time watching a theatrical release in 3D.
if i can, midnight! if not, i will probably have to wait until the afternoon or night.
Earliest 2D Stadium showing at my favorite multiplex. I would LOVE to take off work Friday to see it, but don’t know yet if I’ll be able to. If not Friday, then definitely Saturday. Maybe both. Maybe twice Saturday. I saw Up 3 times the first weekend, so who knows?
Oh my god, I just realized that there’s only 9 days left until TOY STORY 3!
Depends with me.
I can go to my local movie theater called Regent (I can go in 2D or 3D)
Or I can go to Melbourne Musieum IMAX. (Also in 3D)
If the IMAX Melbourne is full or booked, I have to go to the Massive shopping center Highpoint near my town (They also have IMAX by Hoyts).
The shopping center is like 3 or 4 storys tall!.
I most likly go to Highpoint to see TS3.
Melbourne Museum will be packed because it’s right in the middle of the city, also their isin’t many parks around their.
Wow, where is your theater located? I can’t imagine an IMAX screening being booked already. At any rate, I’d love to see the film in IMAX at least once during it’s release, but I want to make sure that I see it in theaters first.
The Highpoint IMAX is around near the outskirts of Melbourne.
To let you know at my local theater in my town, it does not have IMAX but I do go to see most of my IMAX films at Highpoint.
If you ever want to go to Australia. I think Melbourne is the better way to go for your Holiday. I’m going to see TS3 with my dad At the Highpoint IMAX 3D or Melbourne Musieum. Then I’m going to see it at my local theater with my mum in 2D (my mum hates 3D but who is going to stop you) with maybe my cousins.
Then I will go and see TS3 at Highpoint again with my friends, in 3D (No IMAX), then just shop around, look at Toys ‘R’ Us, Smiggle (Crazy Stationary That everyone I Know has) and JB Hifi (Music Store). Where ever I go im going to get the Game and play it till i compleat it.
I might pre-order it at Toys ‘R’ U, you get a free watch (which will be a kiddies one but i might sell it on eBay) or i coulb buy it at JB Hifi where it might be cheeper. I don’t really know where im going to get the game.
But thats my planes for TS3 then the rest is waiting it for DVD.
me too, i have my english exam at 12:30! if it was just a regular school day i would DEFINITELY go at midnight, but it just isn’t realistic. plus my friends’ parents wouldn’t do it. nonetheless i’m just happy i get to see it opening day, i’d go by myself if i had to.
Sometime in the evening; I get back home from Massachusetts Boy’s State the afternoon of the premier. Last year I saw Up immediately after school ended, but I’ll have to wait a lfew more hours this time. I just started planning today for a trip into Boston to see the film with my friends.
Well, I WANT to go to a midnight showing but my math final prevents that. My June 18th will go like this:
11AM: Arrive at school, eat lunch of Toy story mac and cheese
12-3PM: Take Math Final
3-5PM: Hang out at school, eat some dinner
5-6?7?8?: Graduation Rehearsal
After Graduation Rehersal : ZOOM to nearest movie theater!
I have a test at noon so I’m probably going to go late afternoon.
I’m getting two free tickets btw!
Wow, it seems like a lot of people are in the unfortunate position of having college/high school finals during that day. I’m just really glad that my school is on the semester system. Also, that’s awesome Tyler1995!
I’m waiting. Opening night is way too hectic and crazy for me.
It’ll probably be anytime either during the first week of its release or the week after, hopefully. But I’m not going to be too upset if I don’t see it opening day.
Yes, cuz I’m a party pooper and am probably the only member on this site not all jacked up to see it. Shame on me…
little chef
Just found out my theater isn’t having a midnight showing. I guessed that it wouldn’t, but I was holding out a bit of hope!
So a late afternoon showing for me. My mom is thinking of coming with me, but she’s not certain yet.
I just hope the audiance will give the movie a good raiting! .
On YouTube there’s a show called Beyond The Trailer, and Grace Randolph intervew people who saw the movie (E.G Toy Story 3) and people give hounest opinions, and they give some information about the history about the Movie/Coumpany. So if anyone lives in NYC, Empire State 25 I think is where she intervews people.
