Awww, looks like my theater isn’t doing a midnight showing either. The earliest I can see it is noon on the 18th. not sure which time I’ll see it just yet…
Man haven’t been on in forever.
But I’m seeing it the MINUTE it comes out. Midnight showing! Been waiting for this movie since the first trailer leaked XD
I sure wish I could see it opening day, but maybe it’s better to wait so there won’t be too many little kids commenting in the middle of the movie.
Same here. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie on opening day, at least, not that I can remember. It’s usually due to ‘group inertia’ and me trying to save by going on Cheap-*ss Tuesday instead (cinemas in Australia knock off prices on Tuesday to attract mid-week moviegoers).
And really, I’m not as pumped for Toy Story as I was for Wall-E or Up for some reason. I’m more excited for Inception, Knight & Day and Salt… But if you forced me to only watch one more film this year, it’d have to be TS3 for the nostalgia value (and Timothy Dalton!).
I’m going to the very FIRST Showing of TS3 in the state!
Like most, I have final exams all week starting tomorrow. Friday is my last day of school, which is ironic as it’s the day Toy Story 3 comes out. I am how ever going to the midnight release still this Thursday. My last final is an easy class that I already have all A’s in, and the final should be easy. I’m not letting school getting in the way of my 11 year wait for Toy story 3. Hard to believe that Toy story 3 is just around the corner after all this time. I’m way more excited for Toy story 3 than summer XD
I’m so happy, I get to go into the city on Thursday night the 17th and see an advanced screening of Toy Story 3 in Imax and 3d. I cant wait!
Turns out, the earliest showing at my theater is noon on Friday, so that’s probably when I’ll go.
I’m waiting in line for an early screening right now. Just an hour and a half to go.
I’m going to see it at midnight, but I’m not pre-ordering. They’re playing it in 3 theaters, so my odds have to be decent. (It’s not like kids’ll be going at midnight, unless their parents are a little crazy.)
I’ve reserved my tickets for the midnight showing. Can’t wait!
I just did my research on seeing TS3 at IMAX, and I called up the Melbourne Musium and now imnjust really sad, like some of you guys .
I looked up and my IMAX is not playing TS3, I’m just really sad about that, just about a hour ago, I was crying when I called (I feel imbarised ) I just got back from the ice cream parlor. I need to find out about Highpoints IMAX, I just really hope that Highpoints IMAX is playing TS3. To me, the bright side is, is that at least it’s playing at my local theater .
I mean, what worse, not seeing it in IMAX or just not being able to see it at all. Just as long as I see it, then I am happy .
I’ll probably see it in 3D before 6 PM on Sunday because a) my cousins are going to be in town and we’re going yard-saleing Friday and Saturday and b) it’s cheaper before 6 at the local theater.
So I was looking online at my local AMC 16 theater where I purchased me and my friend’s tickets at I was surprised to find out that I made a mistake. From what I thought was going to be a standard 3D showing of the film actually turned out to be an IMAX 3D. So… yeah. Guess I’ll be seeing the movie on the Bigger Screen.
Does anyone know if the IMAX 3D gives you glasses?
10:15 am, friday morning. It’s the earliest showing of all the theaters i know of. and i am going. and i will finally see what happens after the cliffhanger!!!
I had originally planned to go tomorrow night, since none of the people in the group that I’m seeing it with (besides me, of course!) wanted to go at midnight. But today everyone changed their minds, and we just got tickets for the midnight showing in glorious 3D!
Due to a change in plans, my boyfriend and I might see it tomorrow at 4 PM at the Rave…and then have dinner afterward ! (That is, if popcorn doesn’t fill us up )
I plan on seeing it at midnight tonight with my boyfriend and some of our friends.
Now I’m just happy now!
The IMAX in Melbourne is not showing there, but the IMAX at Highpoint shopping center
is showing Toy Sttory 3!
All my sadness has gone away!
Perfect, now everthing is good. Also, nearly every session at every cinama is actuly sold out, I will try my best to get tickets!
What IMAX does, is they give you Glasses that you don’t keep, or recycle or whatever.
They give you 3D glasses, and when you leave, you have to return them into a box.
So relax, you wont be charged for tusing the glasses.
