Where would you visit even though you live in....

Ok I don’t really know if I put this in the right place, but I was looking at another city forum, and I got a idea. For those on here that don’t live in America what top American cities would you love to visit? And for those that do live in America, what international cities outside of America would you like to visit?
Heres mine:

1.)Paris :sunglasses:
2.)London
3.)Sydney
4.)Toyko(Too much Toyko Mater  )
5.)Hong Kong

Well, I’d generally love to go to California, Seattle and Texas. I know these are states rather than cities, but I don’t actually know the cities within these states, just that I’d really like to go there. I’ve visited the number one city on my USA to-do list, NYC, and absolutely loved it, so now a dream of mine would actually be to do a road tour through a bunch of states and explore America like that.

Texas…humm I like where this is going  .What part of Texas?

Ft. Worth is very nice this time of year. No really, I was JUST there :open_mouth: .
Dispite it being pretty hot. It’s no wonder I’m so sleepy.

xCarsLuverx- Houston? But just generally Texas sounds good to me.

I have to admit though, I’ve got other places on my ‘to visit’ list outside of America that I’ll probably go to first. Like Moscow! And Venice. And Cairo! Oh yes.

In the US:

  1. Anaheim, Ca
  2. Emeryville, Ca
  3. Burbank, Ca
  4. Orlando, Fl
  5. NYC, NY

Rest of the World:

  1. Sydney, Australia
  2. J’Berg, South Africa
  3. Rome, Italy
  4. Cairo, Egypt
  5. Madrid, Spain

I count myself lucky to have been to some of the places you guys listed- my parents, especially my mum, is a bit of an adventurer (probably from her sterwardess days). We would go overseas to a new country every year, but lately we’ve been going to nearby countries because of the GFC.

I’ve been to London, Hokkaido, Seoul, Paris, Anaheim, LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Pretoria, Cape Town, Milan, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Dubai, Moscow, Beijing, Madrid, Berlin, Prague and Vienna in the last ten years (Thanks to group tour packages). And of course, I live in beautiful Sydney, home to Nemo and friends.

I would love to go to South America, the only continent besides Antarctica we haven’t visited.

In the US:

  1. Emeryville
  2. Orlando
  3. Miami
  4. New York
  5. New Orleans

Rest of the World

  1. Toronto
  2. Rio de Janerio
  3. Cairo
  4. Shanghai
  5. Venice

With me, as it said in my 'Location, I want to go to NEW YORK CITY!!!
I just love the fashon and everything, i really want to go to the Toys “R” Us Shop which has that big ferris wheel inside.
I also want to go to AMC movie empire 25 to be intervewed by Grace Randolph for Beyond The Trailer, Maybe TS3!
Also, whereever Pixar is, i really want to go there!

Since I do live in America, I guess I gotta do the international cities!

1.) Paris - I love what I’ve seen of Paris in movies, and I’m desperate to go there! I actually own a t-shirt with the word Paris on it and the Eiffel Tower (which I’m wearing right now, actually!) and an Eiffel Tower necklace that I got in Chinatown.
2.) London - I’d love to visit London and sightsee. I’d probably come back talking with an accent. lol I would also pick up a lot of British music for on my iPod.
3.) Tokyo - Ah, Japan! I have two friends (they’re twins) who’s mom’s side of the family comes from there, and I’d really wanna see just the land that their ancestors came from.
4.) Rome - Who wouldn’t wanna have the chance to go to such a beautiful city like Rome? And I’m also a sorta closet history buff (I usually don’t talk about how much I love history), so a place like Rome would be able to quench that thirst.
5.) Athens - I’m running out of ideas here! lol Pretty much the same reason as Rome.

Now, I would also like to visit LA (heck, any place with a beach in SoCal!), Cleveland (I live about two and a half [I think] hours away from there, and I’ve never been there . . . How sad.), Orlando, and Aneheim. Oh, can’t forget Emeryville!

lizardgirl:Well,if you ever need any help consult me,for anything Houston.Houston is a rather diffrent and terribly underrated city, but I love it.

thedriveintheather:Wow you ar soo fortunenate.I don’t have enough money to go to those places… :frowning:

One day I’d love to visit:
London, England
Berlin, Germany
Madrid, Spain
Paris, France
Rome, Italy

and maybe also Moscow, Russia and Beijing, China.

I doubt I’ll ever visit these places, but hey, you never know!

Here’s my top 5!

  1. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  2. Munich, Germany
  3. Lisbon, Portugal
  4. Cairo, Egypt
  5. Sydney, Australia

@thedriveintheater

I LOVE New Orleans! If you ever do go, tell me and I’ll give you some tips!

I like this topic! I plan on traveling a lot when I get older. I live in Canada, so I guess I’ll list the American cities I want to visit:

  1. New York City, NY (so original, I know)
  2. Miami, FL
  3. Las Vegas, NV
  4. Anchorage, AK
  5. Ainsworth, NE

Other places I’d like to go:

  1. Tokyo, Japan
  2. Gevelsberg, Germany
  3. Alice Springs, Australia
  4. Johannesburg, South Africa
  5. Paris, France

I actually went to Paris earlier this year, but it’s a beautiful city, and I would love to go back sometime and go to all the places I missed the first time around.

  1. Athens, Greece (I’m a Greek mythology buff…haha)
  2. Buenos Aires ,Argentina(I love the spanish language so half of these are going to be spanish speaking! Seriously, you’ll never meet a bigger spanish class nerd…XD)
  3. Barcelona, Spain
  4. San Juan, Puerto Rico,
  5. Rome, Italy (too bad they speak Italian…I actually want to learn that language though!)
    6.Sydney , Australia.

I love how 4/5 of those places are Disney related!

I’d love to visit New York or London once. Anywhere where I can speak English to people is cool. :stuck_out_tongue: I’d also LOVE to visit Rare, ltd. in Twycross once, but I doubt that’s gonna happen…

Or Australia, Tasmania… you know. I love that place, dunno why.
Or France. I’d love to visit France again. Last time I did was when I was little and I had no eye for the Eiffel Tower and stuff, I only liked the pigeons

But alas, I’m stuck in Holland with insufficient funds.

The pigeons :open_mouth: I know what you mean, they’re huge! My friends and I called the squigeons.

Oh, and I forgot one place on my list: I’d love to go to Ireland.

I went to Ireland two years ago, it’s amazing. The people are so fun! It’s one of those more obscure traveling places. But it’s so beautiful, with so much history and so much to see!

Ireland sounds like a beautiful and fascinating place to visit. Shame it’s so expensive at the moment, as I’d love to go for a weekend away in Dublin.
