Which is the worst animated movie that you have ever watched

Wizards
Home on the Range
The Pebble and the Penguin
The King and I
Quest for Camelot
Nadia: The Motion Picture
The End of Evangelion
Titan A.E.
Swan Princess sequels (The first movie wasn’t perfect, but it was better overall, if flawed)
Rock-A-Doodle
The Lord of the Rings (Ralph Bakshi’s version)
Tree of Palme

I can agree with some of the movies on your list.

OMG, yes, thank you for including Quest For Camelot on there!! :open_mouth: It was TERRIBLE.

I agree, that film was terrible. I mean, Kirk DeMicco has made some really terrible films like that and Space Chimps.

I didn’t necessarily think it was terrible, per say, but it WAS a very weak film overall. I think it would’ve worked out much better if Warner Bros. had concentrated on the real meat of the story—the King Arthur legend—instead of trying too hard to steal Disney’s thunder. I DID like some of the songs and the dragon, but overall it was a very curious failure. THE IRON GIANT was a much better effort from Warner Bros.

Quest for camelot is a big example on what happens when you cash in on the success of Disney. And believe me, the two main characters are OBVIOUS knock offs of Belle and the human form of the beast. My biggest problem with this film is that this is BARELY unwatchable. Its just makes you want to shoot yourself in the head on how bad it is. To make matters worst, Camelot was originally planned as a PG13 cartoon but however Warner Bros decides to pull a Disney and make it as a kids film. The only thing that I got a laugh out of this terrible film was the cameo of Red(from Tex avery’s Red hot riding hood) in one of the songs. To me, Camelot is proof on why I hate it when studios decide to follow success over originality when it comes to making animated features.

Rock-a-doodle is something I am questioning on how Don managed to produce it. I just hated that flipping cat(all he did was complain for crying out loud!). Couldn’t they just let the duke eat him? Not to mention the fact that there were production problems with this as well.

That’s because The Iron Giant is one of the best movies ever made, so there’s no comparison with the mediocre (though not completely terrible) Quest for Camelot.

Iron Giant is a great movie, gotta get it on DVD.

Chicken little is the worst animated movie i’ve ever watched. (although the karaoke and hate mail scenes were funny  )

I don’t understand why people think Chicken Little was Disney’s worst film and that it was horrendous. Sure it was terrible but I didn’t think it was Disney’s worst. That would go to something like Home on the Range or Brother Bear.

I also hated Chiken Little.

Eh, I definitely have to say Chicken Little is my least favorite animated film of all time. Followed by Shrek and Gnomeo and Juliet.

I’m quite supprised no one has mentioned Hoodwinked Two yet.

I have not seen that yet.

I don’t think you should watch it since I herd it was awful. People probably didn’t even remember the first one which came out in 2005.

I really enjoy the original.

Hoodwinked was just a quick cash in on the fairy-tale parodies that were made thanks to Shrek. The film itself looked like an unfinished PS2 video game. And heck the sequel(judging by the trailer) is WORST! I’m a thankful person for not watching Chicken Little. It looked like it was trying to hard to mimic Dreamworks animation.

Also, I’m surprised nobody mentioned Rover Dangerfield on here. Even though I m no fan of Rodney Dangerfield, I rose an eyebrow seeing a VHS tape of it at a shop and saying “Who was dumb enough to approve of this?”. Besides, it felt like it was forced.

I agree with what you said about Hoodwinked. It definitly looked like a cash in on fairy tale parodies. They did almost the same exact thing with the sequel.

I’ve only seen 1 parody of Little red riding hood that was handled correctly, and thats Tex Avery’s Red Hot Riding Hood. Way better to look at than Hoodwinked.

Also, Happily N’ever after…UGGGH!

I didn’t even see CHICKEN LITTLE because I thought it looked unappealing from the start. But HOME ON THE RANGE was a truly awful film, and I’m a Disney fan. The whole plot could have been done as a 7-minute short, and the very idea of a yodelling sheriff hypnotizing cattle with his singing was arguably one of the most idiotic pieces of storytelling I’ve ever seen since ROCK-A-DOODLE’s plot-hole ridden “plot”. Alan Menken’s score was also disappointing; considering his work on THE LITTLE MERMAID and THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (as well as his other scores for Disney save HERCULES) was so stellar, I was hardpressed to find ANYTHING remarkable about his “work” for Home on the Range. In what may be a rarity for me as a Disney fan, I didn’t even want to see it again. I didn’t even want to buy the soundtrack OR the DVD. And that’s saying something!

BROTHER BEAR COULD have been a pretty good film but I felt the story was too padded out for its own good, and I found the Phil Collins songs more distracting than beneficial. For instance, there’s one scene in the film when Kenai confesses to Koda about how he killed his mother. Using a song to drown out his confession was a mistake. A better idea would have been to execute it in the way that the deleted scene version does. The happy ending also felt forced and awkward as well. I wouldn’t say BROTHER BEAR is awful, but it WAS a pretty weak film all in all.
