In general really.ümlauts and where to put them can be annoying.
TSS : that’s absolutly right, as a matter of fact, i think that english is the most easiest !
no still male or female words.
Well, the really why is because I was born and raised in America, so it comes naturally. But then, you throw in the other spelling, grammar and other english rules, then English becomes the most complicated and complex language out there.
I don’t know… you haven’t seen the French grammar and stuff !
Is it as strict as the english rules of grammar?
Ümlauts? Don’t you mean “Umlaute”?
But German can be hard. Some German people have many problems to write something. Wenever we wrote an essay in German class and get it back after weeks, our teacher commented our spelling. Like:
“Franziska: R-. Jessica: Z-. Juliane (me) A…”
julian in japan in juli
I have started of taking a habit of pronouncing Js as Ys in englisch as well!
I don’t know TSS i really think that French is more difficult.
Even if you just add the accents, it’s already a lot of work !
Witch_of_Night- A friend of mine wants to study German at uni, and he was telling me about how some of the words, especially for things like transport, can litterally be translated to ‘flying thing’ (aeroplane) and that sort of thing. German sounds very cool.
Though I always notice how long the words are! They all seem to have at least ten letters.
They stick words together in german.
I also think German is cool but it’s sort of brutal language.
English is heavily based off german. but german is souted to metal/hard ruck because of it’s brutalness.
Nassan nang Asian pananalita?
Y’know, now that I’m looking at it, English is sort of a hard language if you put all those grammar rules together. Y’know how a lot of immigrants in America stutter when they speak? I can respect anyone that learned English from scratch.
Mula kailan ka nag-aaral ng German at French?
When did you learn German and French?
Ako ay The Star Swordsman. Nag-aral ako ng Tagalog sa High School.
Translated: I am THe Star Swordsman. I learned Tagalog at High school.
High-five dude!
Thanks FounderofAzn. I didn’t learn much though. This is about one of the most complex sentence that I learned in my class.
I can’t believe I haven’t found this thread sooner.
I speak Spanish in addition to english., but since I speak engish more often, I tend to forget some spanish words or, when talking to my parents, I blend the languages together.
Are you a little fluent in Spanish Kim?
Si!
In all seriousness, yes I am, but I tend to forget a word or two. I don’t really talk in spanish all that much, unless I need to.
