Which languages can you speak?

lizardgirl: That’s amazing. She truly has a gift to master so many languages, and remember them enough to be fluent. I stopped taking German classes 4 months ago, and I have basically forgotten nearly everything!

I take spanish in school, but I forgot practically everything over the Summer. Not good…

Spanish (my mother language), english (medium level) and french (not very good :stuck_out_tongue: )

Ég er að læra Íslenska

English
And some Spanish, i studied it for 4 years at high school. Passed it =) although all the knowledge has gone out of my head, I only know the extreme basics, like hello, goodbye, one to ten etc.

I’m also in the process of learning spanish !Buenas tardes! :sunglasses:

I learned all the Spanish I need to know from Speedy Gonzales, and all of the French I need to know from Pepe le Pew. jk

I can speak fluent English (haha), French and Spanish. I can also part speak Chinese and German!

That’s really impressive Kelly! It’s awesome to be multilingual, and you’ve got it down!

I’m only fluent in American English. I took a class in Filipino in high school, but I’ve forgotten a lot of it.

They offered Filipino at your high school? That’s crazy awesome!

Well, about 25% of my school population is Filipino.

My mother language is Russian, and I was good at English at school  I also studied French at school for 6 years, though I can’t say I know it very well. And I took German classes for a year, so I only know the basics.

ENGLISH and SPANISH !!!

there should be a spanish thread about Pixar,

TSS: Is there a language of Filipino (There’s no language called ‘Brazilian’ or ‘Mexican’, for example)? I thought it’d be Tagalog.

TDIT: Yes, Tagalog is the language of the Phillippines.

I speak do both English and Spanish. I sometimes have a hard time wording things in Spanish since I’m so used to speaking in English. (and to think Spanish was my first language!)

Yep, this is true. My friend from Philappines speaks Tagalog. There are also a couple of other native languages, it depends what part of the Philappines you’re from.

I believe Filipino is a more formal version of tagalog.

English :stuck_out_tongue:
I know some French. I took it in High School but can’t really remember much :stuck_out_tongue:
I also know some Welsh . Not much though cos we never really did anything in Welsh class. The teacher we had wasn’t that great at controlling everyone in the class. I felt bad for her.

Lucky! That’s one language that I would love to know.
