Which Pixar blu-ray should I get?

Hi guys!

My dad’s picking op a blu-ray player today (the Sony s350) .
So I told him he has to buy a Pixar blu-ray to see the true HD quality (ugh* to own Pixar blu-ray *ugh).

But I don’t know which one to get! Cars is out of the equation. I like the movie, but Rat and Wall-e are better.
So which one should I get, Ratt or Wall-E? (I understand Wall-e has BD live?)

I don’t have a Blu-Ray player yet, but I have heard that the WALL•E one is amazing, and is one of the best examples of Blu-Ray to date. Although, the Ratatouille one has a commentary track that was not on the regular DVD. I would say go with the WALL•E special edition, which also has tons of stuff that is not on the regular DVD.

I have both on Blue-Ray. I would say Wall-E, some of those scenes will blow you away.

I say WALL-E too. I don’t think you will be disappointed with it.

Yup, I agree, if you really want to test out HD and see it at its best, WALL-E is probably a good idea as it’s a film with both a lot of detail and massive environments.

I own all three Blu-rays and I have to say they are all excellent!
If you are looking for features, Ratatouille and WALL•E (and Cars) are packed.
As for the most visually stunning, that would be WALL•E but both Rat and Cars are very close behind.
Keep in mind though, with the Ratatouille (and Cars) Blu-ray you will be getting commentary that’s unavailable in any other format…
I’m sorry I couldn’t help much, they are really all perfect.
Just get the one you think you’d most enjoy right now (I know, tough), and start buying the rest of the films (or ask for them for a Holiday) in the long run.

Thanks for the input guys  !

It will definately be Wall-E then. I love that movie, and the picture quality seems to be the best. Looking to buy the other Pixars when prices come down a bit.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the player yet. The store at which it was the cheapest (250 euro’s) had no stock. And all the price matching stores ( 1 store :stuck_out_tongue: ) didn’t have any stock either. Other places it’s like at least 300 euro’s. Wednesday or thursday they’ll have new stock  .

I do envy you guys across the big pond, blu-ray players for 180 dollar, that’s 140 euro’s!
