Which scenes made you cheer?

So, which scene(s) from each Pixar film made you cheer the most? Here are my favourites:

 1. Toy Story: Woody and the deformed toys reveal to Sid that they can walk and talk, and they teach him a lesson on the process.

 2. A Bug’s Life: The ants and circus performers take their stand against Hopper’s gang.

 3. Toy Story 2: The airplane sequence

 4. Monsters, Inc.: The chase sequence in the “door room”

 5. Finding Nemo: Nemo instructs fish to push down on the fisherman’s net.

 6. The Incredibles: 100 Mile Dash
need I say more?

 7. Cars: The final lap of the final race (for those of you who’ve seen it, you know what I’m talking about  )

Finding Nemo

: The tank gang get out of the tank .

The

Incredibles: Glory Days, Apartment Inferno, Bob vs Omnidroid, Lithe or Death, Missile Lock, 100 Mile Dash,

Incredibles vs guards, Road Trip, Incredibles vs Omnidroid, Jack-Jack & Syndrome, the final part.

isn’t that basically the whole move TSS ?

I don’t really show emotion

all that much, watching movies or otherwise; I’ll laugh a little at funny parts, but that’s usually it.

Especially in the theater, when everyone else is around. I’m just a tad self-conscious. :unamused: But, at one of

my viewings of Cars, everybody in the theater burst into applause at Guido’s pit stop. So of course I joined

in.

No way !

that’s awsome ! i nev er thought people do that in theaters .

all is massachusettes people must just be

lame , i guess .

It’s the only time I’ve ever seen it happen, too. It

was at this awesome old-fashioned theater that shows movies about a month after they leave the big cinemas, so I

guess it might have something to do with the sort of crowd that that style theater would attract
I dunno.

Of course! How could I have forgotten Guido’s pit stop!

That’s definitely one of the best parts of Cars (actually, the best part of

Cars is Cars itself, but I’m sure each of us considers

some scenes as our favourites  )

Actually, I don’t show that much emotion when watching movies either.

But what I really meant by a scene that made you"cheer" was one that sort of elated you to the point

that you actually wanted to stand up and cheer (even though you might have simply decided to keep the emotion to

yourself, which is usually what I do)

Cars: The racing scene.

That must’ve been

an interesting experience, DElf! It’s funny- whenever my friends and I go to the cinema, and we see that advert

that they always show which discourages people from using copied films as they are not as enjoyable as the

cinema experience, we always point out that the scene within the advert in which they show a full cinema cheering

and whooping at a clip from the new Superman film is completely unrealistic. Well, I guess it isn’t, then!

And now, back on topic
Scenes that made me cheer? (As, yes, I am the type to shout out loud.

) Hmm
In Toy Story, when they light the rocket near the end and they actually ‘fly’, in A Bug’s Life,

definitely the scene when Flik stands up to Hopper, as well as, strangely enough, the scene in which Hopper shows

the other grasshoppers why they ARE going back to Ant Island, and in Monsters, Inc., when Randall’s beating the

stuffing out of Sulley, especially. I love that scene. :smiling_imp: There are many

points in The Incredibles which makes me cheer, such as the afore mentioned 100-mile Dash, and in Finding Nemo,

when all the fish caught in the net are pushing downwards- a real team moment there.

Sadly enough, I

don’t really remember Cars well enough to recollect a scene which made me cheer
Seeing Lightning zoom around

the track is quite a positive experience, though.

No, not

really. I could say the whole movie, but if you look at the thread title, it says "Scenes that Made you

Cheer". I didn’t pick every scene.

sighs

Just don’t say anything, PV.

At the Cars World Premiere, Larry the Cable Guy told everyone at the raceway

to cheer when Mater made his first on-screen appearance. Sure enough, everyone cheered.

Haha.

~~=oP

Lol, I love it when movie theater crowds get so into the films! It makes it so

much more fun!

Now, I tend to get very emotional when I watch movies, but

I’m more likely to laugh or cry than cheer

The only Pixar scene I can ever remember cheering at is in

A Bug’s Life, when Dot finally flies. The whole theater cheered. It was amazing. :sunglasses:

Oh, and PV,

that’s a cute story!

Do you ever feel like Cars is like a soap opra?

The people here must be lame , nobody cheers when i see any movie :unamused: . Not even an ’ aww

’ . Only laughs .

EDIT : oops , i said that already !

How amazing! Larry the Cable guy telling you guys? I

feel so jealous right now. I sometimes force my family to cheer, even if they don’t want to.

PV : Sorry , The Incredibles is at the bottom of my movie list . NOt so big on

the action thing .

I have to admit though , i do enjoy the begining scene . It’s just so well put

together .

Ah wow, that is okay. BUt it at

least made you cheer. I think the film makers accomplished a little bit of their mission then.

I get over-excited when I watch

great bits in Pixar films, like the ones you listed in your first post.

But I also feel sensitive at

certain bits, too. This includes several places in Finding Nemo and Cars. They make me feel sad, but also

entranced by the beautiful way the Pixar guys have portrayed the emotion of the scene
so much that I get this

weird electric feeling in my body. :open_mouth:

Sometimes, the circus sence made me cheer so much, one time, when I was atching it, I got so excited, I yelled

“BURN HIM AGAIN!!!” at the same time the flies did.
