Lots of people here are being a little judgemental about it. Hilarious, since PIXAR are releasing Cars 2 this year. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for both tremendously. But maybe people could entrust $5 into another company once a year around here. I’m just tired of the negativity.
I’m not ‘rooting’ for any movie. It’s not a race. I’m just more interested in Cars 2, but I don’t want it to ‘win’. Win what? For it to get better reviews, more money? Nah man, I just want to see a good movie.

When I love something, and I perceive it to have a certain quality, I believe it deserves recognition. In the case of DW, around PP at least, their quality films are ignored and even shunned by some. That’s what I’m screaming… The sequel isn’t even out yet, and we already have haters. I hate it all.
Well it’s only natural for people to have percived ideas and opinions on the movie, that’s just the way people are. You’re expecting KFP to be good, otherwise you wouldn’t want to go and pay money to see it. So it’s the same both ways. I just don’t like this talk of “win, win, win” it’s not a race. I mean, we’re still in Award Season for 2010, and we’re already talking about competition for the coming year, it’s just a bit silly.
Gaaak, I really wish I had seen the Valentines-day-themed avatars around here.

EJE’s one is also great! It’s the macaw from Three Callaberos whose name escapes me at the moment. I actually have half a mind to revisit it, seeing that we have a Mexican and Brazilian-set pair of animated movies coming out within the next two months, and both a single-word title that start with the same letter! So The Three Callaberos would be perfect to celebrate the occassion!
Let’s see… I also like Grifoshka because it has a cute tagline and features my favourite characater from Bolt (and no, it’s not Bolt).

The only composite work I did was placing Pascal into a screenshot from a Rango TV spot. So yes, Rango’s actually naked and grasping a banana-coloured sword in the movie.

His name is Jose Carioca. And it’s funny that you mention Rio & Rango, because that’s where I got the idea to have Jose as my avatar (being a Brazilian parrot and all. Rio…Brazil…parrots) Fun Fact! Carioca is actually a term for someone who is from Rio de Janeiro. I’m glad you like it!
And your avatar, I loves it! I would of never of thought to have a graphic with a character from Rango and Tangled, they’re so different! But the expression on Rango’s face is classic. Good job!

Yes. Actually, Cars sparked my interest in NASCAR racing, and eventually, in Jr. I love him. I collect stuff of him and his dad. Have any of you seen Dale? The doccumentary, not the #3 movie. It’s amazing.
We have it, but I haven’t watched it myself. I got to see Dale Senior race the year before his death. I wish I would of gotten to meet him!
You should watch it. It’s good, but sad.
I remember the day he died like it was yesterday. I was wearing an Earnhardt shirt, and I remember going to the store and two guys saw it and whispered to each other. When I got home my dad pulled us aside and broke us the news.
A little bit of America died right along with him.

I don’t recall his voice or anything, though I remember Andretti was in there (Thanks for pointing that out, Fred!). I wonder whether Fred will make a cameo in the sequel. Maybe he’ll go all “He said my name!” on Finn. 
Thanks, but I knew that already. I’ve been reading Brazilian travel guidebooks to prep for Rio as well as for fanfic ideas. But that was very clever of Disney to do that.
