tdit: Gone With the Wind is 4 hours of color! I’d see it if I were you, especially since you’re a big cinema fan. It was groundbreaking for its time, and won dozens of Oscars, even beating Wizard of Oz for Best Picture. Not to mention it’s a great story.
Great story, and actually exciting.
But it’s 4 hours long, so you have to start it early.
Looove the new avatar eje. Gone With The Wind to my mother is like the equivalent of Cars to me. She said she’s going to make me watch the whole thing one day and read the book. 
Your mom is right, do both! The book barly scratches the surface.
