I totally love OWP and K9Girl’s avatars! Both are super cute!

As for mine, I finally decided to switch it. Mine’s an anime girl with lavender hair and glasses. She looks kinda sweet.

The reason for changing my avatar to Golden Gate Bridge is to represent the San Fran portion of my Cali trip.

I’ve never seen the series, but I can tell you that Leirin’s avatar is Princess Lum from Urusei Yatsura. I know this from having run some research on Rumiko Takahashi, a world-renown manga artist I was introduced to by a friend in real life. I’m personally not a fan of Takahashi’s stories, but I do love her style of drawing. She makes use of traditional kimono textiles in designing the looks for her characters, and they all appear sort of “poufy” and bouncy. Her backgrounds also are very reminiscent of ukiyo-e (woodblock printing).
