I really love ellie-jessie-eve’s Brother Bear sig. I should watch it again. It’s also interesting how your sigs tend to be about various world cultures, I’m all for cultural pluralism.

Konrad’s sig just made me go “WOOAAHH”. Is the “Kings of Promise” a reference to the 30 Seconds of Mars song? And have you seen the movie yet? :wink:

@TDIT: I ADORE that movie to bits! Although the ‘look through another’s eyes’ message is a bit vague; bears hunt animals too so why would it be ‘bad’ for Native American hunters back then to hunt bears. Teasing/taunting/molesting the animals on the other hand is of course bad (which is the case with Kenai and Koda’s mother), but later on the movie seems to portray the hunters as ‘bad’. But then again… who would like to be hunted? :wink:

Anyway, aside from my little ethical dilemma, I adored the movie. Perhaps not for the whole ‘look through my eyes’ thing (although I do love the song Collins made for it), but there are many many other parts in this movie that make me want to cry tears of joy. The emotional depth in general, the mild moose humor (eye spy… xD), the drama (Kenai discovering he killed Koda’s mother… that stuff is intense!!!), the spirituality/ancient culture (Disney portrays this really well!), and of course the smooth, epic traditional animation and artwork. Watching the movie in HD is as much eyecandy as the CGI we learned to love nowadays.

Different medium, same concept, mind-blowing results. :wink:

Ha, yeah I have had other sigs of other cultures! I really am into Native Americans, so that explains the Brother Bear and Lilo/Stitch sigs! Who knows what I’ll have next, I like to change my sig often.

Czarine, I’m so glad there’s someone else who loves that movie as much as I do! It is defintely underrated, and I enoyed the animation and music. And as you said, the story with The scene where [spoil]Kenai finds out he kills Koda’s mother[/spoil] is intense!

Just updated my sig to some artwork drawn for me by the lovely Bonka-Chan on deviantART! It’s of her HtTYD troll OC Kwayla, and my character Loki Thorston, who happens to be half-troll. She is one of my favorite artists ever, and I feel so honored that she’d draw me pictures of my characters. (I should also note that the entire image was drawn/colored in MSPaint. :open_mouth: This girl has some wicked skills.)

Thanks sis, EJE and TDIT! :slight_smile: I love it so much. <3 Haha, that’s cute, EJE… Loki is the name of a god from Norse mythology, so I thought it’d be fitting with the character and the nature of his origins. (Loki is the Norse god of tricks, deception, and sneaky exploits. :stuck_out_tongue: My character isn’t necessarily a deceiver, but he’s definitely a lil trickster!)

TDIT, I didn’t think I was being confusing with all my characters, because I try to describe them well when I put up art of them. How are you confused - you mean like, who’s related to who? :laughing: I suppose I could throw something together to help ya out. :stuck_out_tongue:

I was actually going to comment on your sig! I really like it! I love that Gobber is just kinda hanging by his leg in the Monstrous Nightmare’s claws. xDDD Where’d you get the background from, by the way?
