It reminds me of Castle in the Sky and The Iron Giant. Clearly I’m broken.
Well yeah, it is Castle in the Sky (done for a donation by Dice Tsutumi, a concept artist on TS3). The way the robot holds her up definitely reminds me of The Iron Giant (which I have to see again sometime!). There’s just something really awesome about the idea of robots preserving nature.
…Or mercilessly crushing bandmembers.
