That’s not the name of the show, that’s the name of the couple: Duck and Fakir.

The show is Princess Tutu, and its basically about a girl, who’s actually a duck, who can turn into this magical girl-thing called Princess Tutu in order to save the shattered heart of a boy, Mytho, in her ballet class, who is actually a prince from a fairy tale…uh, its Japanese, can’t you tell? Anyway, to make a long story as short as I can, the prince shattered his heart in order to trap a raven and stop it from destroying the world. The girl in my siggie, Duck, finds out that she is being used by a mysterious storyteller named Drosselmeyer to make his story come true, and that is why he turned her from a duck to a girl. The guy is Fakir, Mytho’s roommate, who is a reincarnation of a knight that was meant to protect the prince but got killed doing it. Thus, Fakir is obsessed with protecting Mytho, to the point where he’s really a jerk about it.

I’m not really a huge anime person, but this one is REALLY good. I highly recommend it, especially if you like fairy tales.

Its fairly obscure, yeah. And its only 26 episodes, so its not a long runner like Naruto or anything.

Yours is really awesome too! I was wondering how you got the transparency, actually. I didn’t know alpha channels could be embedded in JPEGs! Otherwise I would’ve just used that, because I have a thing against PNGs. xD

I was looking for some stuff from the movie, and found concept art for the short film! I’m so happy! <3 And I think it’s just so gorgeous, I wish I knew which artist made it so I could worship them!! Haha, that last part was a joke, but still. I love concept art linked to movies I enjoy.
