Mitch - I say Christmas and Xmas, it depends on how I want to say it, or if I don’t have enough room or time to write “Christmas”. But they both mean “Christmas”. Anyone that says that Xmas is used to take the Christ out of Christmas is ill-informed. “X” is actually an old Greek abbreviation for Christ.
But, some Christians choose not to believe that explanation and still stand by the fact that Xmas is an insult to Christ. shrugs
I have no problem with the word “Christmas” it’s just when I comes to making sigs, “room” just doesn’t give it much of a chance. As far as “XMas” is concerned, I’m kinda neutral with that seeing that both sides seem believable.

I thought they would take offence because if you look closely enough it reads “Christmas is a Pagan holiday”. I just wanted to assure everyone here that even though I wrote that when I was pretty steamed, no hate/harm/disrespect was meant to anyone celebrating Christmas. I just learned of it’s roots lately and thought I’d give credit where credit was due. I assure you I don’t mean to offend anyone- actually I’m very respectful towards any religion just as long as others’ beliefs aren’t pressured on me. I don’t mean to pressure anyone into my beliefs either. Just thought I would get that out.

But I still stand by my statement, and the fact that you have pointed out what it says doesn’t change a thing - nor should it. As long as someone doesn’t say far out things, then I don’t get offended by anything, but if I did, I certainly wouldn’t question their right to say it.
But I still think you holiday sig is cool. Very original.
