Who has the best Signature?

I absolutely love Archibald’s new signature. I imagine that he watched the Oscars, as well…

– Mitch

I agree with Mitch. It loos really cool archibald.

Thanks

Actually I didn’t watch the Oscars (I couldn’t, otherwise I would have). But I managed to see the acceptance speech of Brad Bird ; and this short dialogue between a younger version of Brad and his junior high guidance counselor was so reminiscent of Remy and Django in Ratatouille, I just had to do this new signature.

Archibald - Ah, I see. Heheh. Cool.

You’re welcome.

– Mitch

I like your sig, Archibald. xD

Cool sig, Archibald! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and

I actually thought of Ratatouille, even if it was just on a subconscious level, when Brad was making his speech.

I don’t get Mitch’s new siggy…

Watch the commentary for The Incredibles. Then you’ll understand. :stuck_out_tongue:

In the commentary, Bird gets angry that people consider animation as a genre instead of a method to tell a story.

Leonarduille - Yes, it’s a privately public joke between Brad Bird and pretty much everyone else in the world who knows about it. Basically, as The Star Swordsman stated, he isn’t all that keen on animation being called a “genre”. For more information, however, please refer to JesusFreak’s post and listen to the commentary for The Incredibles.

My apologies to everyone who didn’t understand the joke. Eheheh.

I really like Haunt’s and Mitch’s signatures. Both made me laugh and I just love hoe Remy looks^^

Witch_of_Night - Oh dear. I changed it again. Well, thank you anyway!

The signature I wear now is kind of personal. However, if anyone is curious as to what it refers to…

Longing - noun (before 12th century) : a strong desire especially for something unattainable : CRAVING

  • Merriam Webster’s Deluxe Dictionary (Tenth Collegiate Edition)

I greatly linger on the edge of acceptance and longing, seeing others advance in the artistic industry while I watch on, hungering for it behind a grated window.

The only difference between the description of the word “longing” in Merriam-Webster’s dictionary and my understanding of it is that I am determined to succeed and will succeed, no matter how unattainable the future may appear.

Really beautiful signature, Mitch. The choice of picture and caption work well together in a very sincere way, and the whole signature is a touching way of expressing how you feel at this point in time.

rachel - Eheheh. Thanks, dude.

I love your new signature, rachel! He has too many freakin’ toys, although I guess I should talk… (snigger)

– Mitch

Love your new sig, rachelcakes! Did you ever see the bit in one documentary (I forget which) where he’s playing on the floor with a hopping toy? xD

rachel, I love your new siggy. It is so funny, yet true. I want them all.

Thank you to everyone who complimented my new signature. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and

Wink" />

Ha-ha! Yeah, me too. Just this week, I spent most of my spare money on toys (mostly Pixar and other animation). Heheh. And there is never such a thing as too many toys.

Yes, I did and it’s so funny - these grown men sitting on the floor playing with toys. You can just tell that the main guys at Pixar are kids at heart, which is what I love about them. <3 I would think John Lasseter gets all of his Pixar toys for free, and he must have a seperate section for his toys outside of his office by now, since all the other Pixar merchandise that has been released since that DVD segment was filmed…

Ha-ha. Ain’t that the truth.

– Mitch

You are totally welcome rachel. I can’t wait to see what you shall pic for your next siggy.

JF’s new sig made me crack up. xD
