What do you think about signatures that promote hate or evil? Should that be a rule on Pixar Planet’s signature “policy”; to not have signatures of that type?
Well, I think anything that promotes hate would be against the site’s policy…But I don’t think anything ‘evil’ would be banned…

) And if you think that my pentacle on my signature is promoting evil and hate, then you obviously don’t know a thing about what it means. Paganism promotes tolerance and respect for all religions, and embraces nature.
If it were upside down (meaning the spirit point would be pointing downwards) that would make it evil. Just as if the Christian cross were turned downwards.
Anyways, I’m not imposing on anyone’s beliefs or ‘promoting hate or evil’ as it were, so it should be allowed on. I’ll remove it if the mods want me to but if I do then I’d better not see any other religious symbols on the board because that wouldn’t be right.
I don’t see why you care so much since my siggys change on a regular basis.
It’s amazing that I have tolerance for your beliefs yet you have zero tolerance for mine. Where is the love?

In my opinion, FONY is well within her rights (not to mention her rights to free speech) to have a pentacle in her signature. And if anyone is offended by that, then they need to broaden their view and get a reality check - part of growing up is coming into contact with people that are different from you. Deal with it. And if JesusFreak can display his religion within his user name, then I don’t see the difference between that and displaying one’s religion as a signature. My 2c.

But there should be at least a line drawn. You wouldn’t want Al-Qaeda members on Pixar Planet (yes, I just woke up xD) showing off their ideals.
As JF said, anything that promotes hate would be against the site’s policy, so yes, there hopefully is a rule about that. Just making sure.
I agree with rachel on this one. I mean, if someone came up to me and said "I’m a witch!', I’d just say “Ok.” I wouldn’t condemn them or look down upon them (Not saying you are, A113 ). What outcome would that produce? (For the record…I could care less if someone were using a pentagram, upside down cross, or anything like that…)
To be completely honest, if I could change my username, I would. Not because I’m ashamed or anything, but I’ve just felt that it seems a bit…idk…over the top (for lack of a better word). And at times, I’ve been everything but a Jesus Freak.
You’re missing the point, as usual, which doesn’t surprise me.

Thanks Rachel and JF. But for the record, I’m not a witch. That’s Wicca. I’m sure there are Pagan witches … but I don’t have the patience for witchcraft.
And as for what A113 said about Al Qaeda - much as I have every right to dislike them, posting a symbol of their religion in their siggy is by no means going to harm anyone physically. If it were graphic pictures of people being torn apart or something gruesome like that, or ‘death to America’ pictures or logos, I can understand, but seriously! It’s a picture. It’s not like I’m conjuring something to attack you through your computer screen and poke your eyes out or something.
I know, I was just using that as an example.
