Who has the best Signature?

Mitch, that’s the shortest amount of time you’ve had a siggy for ever. :astonished:

Well, that’s pretty funny. Heh. I get it now.

Did you make that? I once made a gif of a scene from back to the future. Took me ages!

I like it.

A113 - I know. It must be a new record.

rachel - Heheh. Yeah. My apologies in that I didn’t make it clear the first time around. I’ll do my best to keep captions in my signatures “decode-able” from now on.

– Mitch

Mitch - No need to apologise… Sometimes the best jokes are the ones that take a little bit of figuring out. Heh. And it’s good to see you bringing out a classic Ratatouille signature of yours - you and your potty humour.

I’m still thinking pib and pog.

rachel, I see you got yourself a new siggy! I like it. It looks nice on you.

Rachel- I remember seeing that siggy on one of your posts once, glad to see you “wearing” it again. It’s really nice, I like it a lot.

I really like Rachel’s siggy. It looks nice and I really love azure

But Mitch’s siggy makes me laugh

Thanks, peeps. I didn’t think anyone would remember that I made it ages ago, since it was last year that I posted it, but I’m glad you guys like it. I thought I’d go back to one of my classic siggies, and this one’s always been one of my favourites - the colours and Pixar in-joke and the pretty clouds are why I chose it. Heh. It also reminds me of Up, and I’m in a bit of an Up mood at the moment.

yes, that’s cool

Hey rachelcakes1985, sorry to say, but I’m embarassingly not in on the hidden joke of your signature. I can safely say I’ve watched all the Pixar films at least once, but I still for the life of me can’t figure out where I’ve heard of an “Indian Golf 99 Airways” or its particular significance. Could you give me a hint? As an aside though, I have to agree with you that it does remind me of Up, what with the fluffy clouds against the blue sky backdrop. It looks serene. And pretty.
My sig, as y’all can see, is quite “cool” at the moment. It could do with some improvement, though, so if anyone of you are feeling particularly charitable (or creative), it would be really…cool, if you could design a temporary sig for me until I figure out how to create a proper one. Anything Cars or Wall-E related would be totally awesome! Just reply to this post or PM me! :sunglasses:

sp far I’ve had one person understand mine without explanation!

thedriveintheatre: Well, I can tell you that “India Gulf 99” (or niner-niner) was the jet that Helen Parr was flying on on her way to Syndrome’s base.

Two.

Very Good. Yuo are Now in possession of the aperture science handheld portal device.

thedriveintheatre - Glad you like my signature. Thank you. Yes, it is serene. I chose to wear it because of the pretty colours, and also because the message is clever, but a little bit sinister.

To explain the meaning behind the “India Golf 99 Airways” in my signature, and to elaborate on what The Star Swordsman said, in The Incredibles the plane that Helen Parr (Mrs Incredible) is flying is called “India Golf Niner Niner” which is a reference to Brad Bird’s (the director of The Incredibles) previous movie The Iron Giant, which was released in the year 1999, hence “IG99”. Now, the plane that she was flying ended up crashing into the sea because of the missiles, so I just thought what a bad reputation that airline company might have (even though it wasn’t really an airline company, just a code for Helen’s plane.) And you would never forget a flight on board the India Golf Niner Niner, would you?

If you would like some signatures or avatars, people make graphics over here in this sub-forum. Most people would be happy to let you wear a signature or avvie that they’ve made, but it would be best to ask them for permission first just to make sure.

TSS - Is it “India Gulf”, or “India Golf”? 'Cause I only heard it and haven’t seen it spelt out. Otherwise I’ll have to change my signature to the correct spelling.

Rachel: I believe it is India “Gulf”. Golfing in India would sound a little funny agree? Also, I believe there is a place in the world called the Gulf of India.

TSS - Oh, right. I’ll change it then. Thanks. Heh.

Actually rachel, I think you were right all along. After doing reseach, I believe that Golf is the right answer, not Gulf (which I find kinda confusing)
