I love your new sigy rachel. It looks really scary and perfect for the upcoming Halloween.

WALL·E and TSS - Thanks, guys. =)

thedriveintheatre - Thanks for the reminder of the Toy Story double on Channel 7 this Saturday night (in your signature.). I’ve got nothing better to do, and I needed to watch it again to prepare for the commentary, anyway. I don’t think you need to say “AEST” because it starts at 6:30pm no matter what state you are in… But yay for it being on free-to-air, finally! =D

We rarely get pixar film on freeview, Channel 4 has been putting a film on every saturday for the last few saturdays, but they are all 9pm so I doubt they’ll do one then. They’ve has

2 weeks ago: The Core
Last Week: Independence Day
This week: Saw I (ugh)

Sky movies have got hoodwinked on, but thats ablout it, and it’s subscription.

BOT, anybody clicked my signature??

Hmm…your sig leads to an unidentified forum, WALL-E. Only 2 users have registered. You got me curious there. Mind telling us what you’re cooking up?

Just wanted it to look sound more professional, rachel! I should consider a job in PR and marketing… :sunglasses: And like I mentioned in your Sweet Treats thread, I like your custom-made sigs. The Incredibles one is pretty dark, I mean, it’s an actual corpse in a kid’s movie! I’ll get a Wall-E related one done up in time for Halloween as soon as my assignments are done this Wednesday!

Quick question, though (and anyone knows how are free to answer too!). How do you resize/stretch a screenshot into the banner dimensions for a signature? Would Paint do the job, or would I need to get Photoshop or an online image resizer?

Better yet if anyone could PM or post me a step-by-step instruction on how to create a sig! Although I think I can stumble around and try to figure it out, I’ve never done this before, so I hope someone could help me out. Just a simple guide will do (ie how to set banner dimensions and host it online, etc.)

I’ll help you.

Paint.NET is free it is better than paint. Do you have any IM programs, I could take you thru step by step then.

AND IT’s MY FORUM!

Thanks for the offer, but I don’t have IM, and I don’t have Facebook. I use plain ol’ e-mail or snail mail. Yes, I’m a total tech noob.

And what does ‘DMC Enterprises’ stand for? There’s only one post on the forum explaining the rules. Could you please explain further, because I don’t understand how this is related to you?

Thanks, guys! Yup, they’re lyrics from a song by Johnny Cash. I only heard the song because it was on an advert for this TV programme I watch, and the whole ad was all about my favourite character and I was squeeing away. I found it again on YouTube, and realised that the song was pretty darn cool too.

Loving your new siggy, Rachel. Perfect for this time of year!

It’s soem forum I made, my name on it is DMC.

OK, I’ll make a new thread with detailed instructions how to do it on here then.

I like yours, Lizardgirl. Seems very Randellish.

Al-bob used paint

[quote]

that’s a joke right???

Oh, so that’s the story behind those lyrics. They seemed like it would be from a singer such as Johnny Cash. And thanks, lizardgirl. Yep, perfect for Halloween. =)

thedriveintheatre - Yeah, it does make it seem more professional… I like how you put that bit of extra effort into your little taglines. Oh, thanks very much, I try my best. I look forward to seeing what your Halloween-inspired siggie will look like.

Too resize a signature, or any picture, it would be best to use Photoshop (always save as a .png file) but you could always download a free program called Gimp, which is way better than Paint, or so I’ve heard. I would really recommend using Photoshop, though 'cause you can do a lot more with it, but maybe having a simple program such as Gimp will be better if you are a newbie, since it would be simpler for you to use. As for how to make a signature, well, just open up the program and fiddle around with it for a while, would be the best way. Just trial and error, really. If you need help, just consult the Help option or the Internet.

Al-bob: no, I can tell you just pasted them in.

Also, lisardgirl, Paint.NET is much easier for newbies, i am creating a guide now.

I think it was about time for me to change, anyway. Plus, with the WALL•E DVD coming up, I just had to do something involving it.

I really like it Remy14.

Looks great, Remy14. I loved that scene for Eve’s heartbreaking display of raw emotion. It was probably the first time she expressed her concern for Wall-E.

The expression on EVE’s face is just so heartbreaking. You can see how panicked she is. Very nice choice, Remy14.

I’ve changed mine again, because I can’t get a song out of my head and I found out it not only reminds me of the Grand Canyon but Stonehenge as well - I hope to visit there someday.

And I love Remy14’s sig - so sad that bit, and also the one I can remember most simply because that was a preview scene I think …

Thanks a lot everyone!

thedriveintheatre - As I said about your avatar, your signature perfectly matches it! Both are great poses of EVE!

FONY - Ah, it looks really nice. The words just seem to match it perfectly. Plus, that’s a great picture of Stonehenge… it is Stonehenge, right?

lizardgirl - I realize that you’ve had that one for a little while now, but I never said anything when you first used it. The words and the expression on Randall’s face match perfectly, too! And what a perfect quote it is… Johnny Cash, right?

Great sigs all around!
