Who has the best Signature?

Not a speck of light is showing…
Nice new sig Lizardgirl

I like your siggy annaborjack.

Mitch: “It’s a trap!” :open_mouth:

Thanks for wearing my promo sig for your fanfic and for the acknowledgments, Woody. points to link Go on folks, you know you want to click it.

lizardgirl - You’re welcome! Yep, you definitely captured his inner thoughts/personality.

Thank you! I don’t blame him for being a chocoholic. It’s not as if the stuff is addicting or anything… :stuck_out_tongue:

thedriveintheatre - Puh-HA!! Yeah, that’s the quote I should have put with it!! (snigger)

– Mitch

WillZMarler has got a really cool siggy. The background picture was fading a bit, but I saw the cleverness behind it. Really cool.

I love lizardgirl’s Willy Wonka-inspired signature because of the varying fonts and colours used for the text, as well as the contemplative pose of Randall. It’s also very purple. Nice. :sunglasses:

You’re not wearing it now, but thanks for wearing my “Love at First Snipe” signature, thedriveintheatre. I’m always honoured when anyone chooses to wear any of my graphics, but to have one of the best graphic-makers on this forum wear one of mine is an honour. Great work with the “Finding the Cure” promo graphic for woody, too. It’s very refreshing, and I like how you go to that extra effort to make the text go under certain parts of the image, unlike lazy me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahhh…! What a great shot of Russell there, Mitch!

Also, I can’t find it now (I knew that would happen), but someone’s got a really funny image of Jack Black and Jennifer Aniston at the 2009 Oscar Awards with the infamous “Dreamworks” comment by JB.

Thanks for the compliments, Rachel! I’m very flattered (in a good way) by your remark of being one of the best graphic-makers, considering I only just started last year and is still relatively an utter noob. :stuck_out_tongue:

Mitch, your sig of Russell from the ‘Dug the Talking Dog’ featurette is fun-ee! That shot was just one of the many spectacular action sequences hinted at in that clip, everyone should go see it right now! I mean it.

As for the Jack Black Oscars quote sig, that would be the Toy Story fanatic from Down Under, nathan. I mentioned him a few posts back.

Thanks, Rachel! The one you’ve got on now is so funny, especially in conjunction with the look on Bob’s face. I can really imagine him saying that!

JesusFreak’s sig made me cry, lol

I really love your siggy rachel. I’m cracking up a lot right now.

thedriveintheatre - I thought it was nathan that wore the Jack Black signature but I looked and he didn’t have it on any more. Oh well, it’s pretty funny regardless.

Thanks, The Star Swordsman.

BURN-E’s “The BURN-E Ultimatum” sig always makes me chuckle.

Sometimes the text signatures are the best: “I don’t think Dreamworks will “beat” Pixar anytime soon, because to make great films you need heart and smarts, not farts.” worn by Bryko614.

You are welcome rachel.

Yeah, Rachel’s is funny

Rachel’s is… pure gravy. Or really strong sauce. :stuck_out_tongue:
I like littlechef’s little promo sig for her fanfic. Everyone, have a read of her little but awesome vignettes now!

TDIT: Awwwww, you made me blush!

To return the “favor”, I will definitely be giving your “Pixar vs. Dreamworks” vid a watch on May 10! (or 11… depending on when I get home from church. :stuck_out_tongue:) Your videos are always so well done, and they always inspire me to get back to work on that music vid of mine…

rachelcakes: That line, the “gravy” one, sounds reeeeeallly familiar, and I can’t for the life of me put my finger on where I’ve heard it!!! :astonished: I feel like it’s from a movie that’s on the “edge” of my memory, but I just can’t remember…! Could you help me out a bit…? Haha…

little chef

Thanks guys. I really need to get to making a new signature, 'cause I’m quite bored with the ones I’ve made in the past but decided to pull this one out anyway, because I don’t believe I’ve ever worn it before and Pixar in-jokes are my thang.

Great line-up signature, thedriveintheatre. And it wasn’t till I typed that out that I realised that it’s a play on words. You, miafka and I are probably the biggest lame pun geeks on Pixar Planet, heheh. Keep 'em coming! The scale of the characters look pretty much correct. WALL-E is a pretty big character than it first seems, isn’t he?

little_chef_eva09 - The line in my signature is from the director’s commentary for The Incredibles. I haven’t watched the commentary since last year, but it’s from a story when a Pixarians were arguing about the food placement on the Parr’s dinner table when making the movie, and another Pixarian (I think it was John Walker) said “Excuse me, can we please get back to the issue of the gravy?” and Brad Bird’s impression of the Pixarian in question, whoever it was, is really funny.

I like your signature by the way. The paint effect is cool. What program did you use to do that?

hey, what about my new one???

rachelcakes: Ohhh yeah… I remember watching the commentary for the Incredibles several times, and when you told me that was what it was from, it totally hit me. Thanks for the reminder! Yes, that little bit from the commentary was extremely funny, among other things… Gotta love Brad Bird…

Oh, the program I use to do all of my avvies and siggys (including the one I’m currently wearing) is a Photoshop-wannabe called Photo Explosion. I’m not able to do everything I’d like to do in photo editing, but I’ve been able to manipulate it to do what I want, to a degree. The paint was just a couple freehanded selections, and I used a gradient fill on them. And the “dripping text” effect was a copy of the original text with some text filters, then layering work. Pretty easy stuff…

little chef

Thanks, thedriveintheatre  ! You mean this one?–

Yeah, that is from Art Of The Incredibles. But I got the montage from the Pixar website. And, no, Violet didn’t say that in the movie, or-- ever. I put Violet Parr’s name after it simply because, well, not to brag, but I came up with that for an Incredibles adaptation I’m writing though Violet’s eyes. I thought it was appropriate for her.

As for my favorite sigs on Pixar Planet, I’d say my favorites would be the ones currently worn by Haunt, rachelcakes1985, and thedriveintheatre. Really cool siggys you guys! :stuck_out_tongue: !

My favorite phrases, however, are the signatures of annarborjack and mei. Very creative.

annarborjack- Yes, I am one of the 11% that rocks out every day :stuck_out_tongue: ! Rap is OK, but I prefer good old 80’s Rock.

Rachel - miafka’s a pun-isher too? I didn’t know that, must read his posts more often! Yup, I actually watched the respective movies (for Up’s case, the trailer) and did height comparisons, then I converted my ‘guesstimations’ from metres to feet and did the identity parade board. And yup, I always thought of Wall-E as infant-sized that you could pick up and cradle, but he’s actually as big as those house-mover packaging boxes! :open_mouth:

Violet Parr - Cool! I should get a copy of ‘The Art of’ if they still sell it. Maybe I’ll be luckier at the library. So you’re writing a fanfic now? Lemme know when you post it, sounds interesting. Thanks for the compliment, although I change my sigs so regularly I don’t know which one you’re referring to! :stuck_out_tongue:

anaborjack - I’m actually the 0.001% who listens to both. I’m a bit eclectic when it comes to my choice of music. And what about other genres like Country? And Jazz? And Country Jazz?

I should give thanks and mention to woody to rewearing the PtaF sig, probably cos’ he/she’s geeking out over the new trailer release!

Haunt’s animated Dash run is also awesome, and probably the only animated signature on this forum.
