Who here's special?

Wow, never heard of the guy, but judging from uploaded Youtube videos of his performances, he likes to go for ‘hot-button’ topics.

My bro and I prefer this Latino comedian called Gabriel Iglesias who does these amazing voice impersonations. Probably need to watch more of him to see if he goes into ‘controversy territory’, but I prefer intelligent stand-ups than lowest common denominator shockers.

Oh yeah, that guy is HILARIOUS!

I also was told a disabled people-related joke two days ago. I hate when they do that.

Yeah, no one really likes Mencia because he’s famous for stealing from other comedians acts. He also likes to make fun of Mexicans and acts like he’s one, but he’s not. He’s German/Houndoran.

I like Iglesias as well! And George Lopez.

I don’t remember the comedian’s name, but I saw this one show on VH1. This “funny guy” was talking to this “psychiatrist” and he listed symptoms to her. She said, “Are you sure you don’t have Asperger’s?” And he says “@$$ burgers? What’s that?”

Well, I did not find it humorous. I turned the TV off right then I was so mad. :frowning:

Wow, that joke is sooo 6th grade status.

In 8th grade, I was trying to explain to my best friend, and before I said I had it, she told me that joke. I get so tired of it.

I’m relieved because in my language, that joke doesn’t make sense

8D I guess it doesn’t. I just wish people would make less jokes like that. It serves no purpose. And, in my experience, it’s best to make jokes about yourself. :stuck_out_tongue: 8D

That’s what I do. I make jokes about myself so most people don’t complain when I joke about them afterwards 8D

Yes. I like to pick on myself. :stuck_out_tongue:

I pick on myself all the time! It just makes it easier to deal with things sometimes. I love to laugh, and it’s easy to laugh at myself

It’s easier that way. You understand your own flaws better then others, and it’s easier to pick less painful topics. 8D

Now i haven’t heard that joke before! that would be funny to mention, sometimes it’s easy to laugh at yourself… and besides, it isn’t like they are deliberately trying to hurt someone, since it isn’t a real story.

Personally, though, I just think it’s a mean thing to say, whether you mean one specific person or not.

One problem with my Aspergers is phobias. If it’s a phobia of something out of a movie or a video game, I’m ultra sensitive about it and almost everything related to it and get the feeling that I have to overcome it all the time, even though I don’t want to.

Really? I have this tendency to dislike, hate, or become extremely annoyed with female characters in movies, especially live action movies. Something as simple as them not wearing sleeves can make me think "slut"or “floosy”. And they annoy me like crazy. while watching The Fighter, I despised every woman except Micky’s girlfriend Charlene. And when she broke Micky’s sister’s nose, I was so happy! 8D

And as for the phobia thing, if I have one, it is needles. I hate needles. :shake: Maybe I just had too many of them when I was 7, I don’t know. But they make me anxious to the extent of anger.

I’m exactly the opposite. I like most female characters over males, jut like in real life.

But I hate the females in The Fighter, I agree (thought the males weren’t very likable either, except perhaps Micky)

Yeah, Charlene and Micky were the only ones I liked. Though I found Dicky to be hilarious. 8D He reminded me of my uncle. My uncle didn’t do drugs, but he was thin and jumpy like that. 8D

As for the female thing, I don’t know. I just find most female celebrities incredibly annoying, and that carries into my feelings on them in movies. Especially actresses who have no acting ability. That drives me crazy!

Well, I wasn’t talking about the Megan Fox type of actress either 8D

And Dicky was hilarious and the performance was great, but he was a terrible person.
