Who is this Buzz Lightyear?

Recently I bought a Buzz

Lightyear at a fleamarket, but he looks different from the one in the

movies.

He

is silver instead of white and he has less green on him. His wings and his backpack look different, too, and he

has some kind of belt around his waist.
He can’t do all those things the Buzz in the movies can. The wings

don’t fold up and the wing release button isn’t a real button. He has no lights on him, he doesn’t glow in the

dark and there’s no release buttons for the helmet and the helmet can’t go further back than it is in the

pictures. And he doesn’t have a control centre in his arm. The three small buttons to the left (his right) on

his chest function as one button. When pressed he says a phrase and he says 6 different phrases all together. The

red button on his right arm makes beeping sounds and laser noises when pressed.
He is marked ? Disney/Pixar

Thinkway Toys.
He is the only Toy Story toy I have ever had and I know nothing about the actual Toy Story

toys. Does anyone know anything about this particular Buzz?

Wow, that’s really strange…I’ve never seen anything like it before, so sorry, I can’t be of any

After the absolute craze of the dolls/action figures, Disney cashed in and made several

‘limited edition’ models. That’s what we have here.

Well, when you press the three small buttons on his chest

he says up to 6 different phrases the last one being “To the infinity, and beyond!”. I don’t

understand everything of the other phrases English being my second language and the sound being a bit

fuzzy.
When you press the small red button on his arm he makes beeping sounds and laser noises. That’s pretty

much his features. His arms aren’t as posable as I would have thought them to be and his helmet has to be opened

and closed manually.
His wings look pretty cool and fancy and they do come off, but they don’t fold up in his

backpack.
I have the impression that all together he has less functions than the ordinary Buzz but he does

look cool :sunglasses:

Hmm, i actually dont remember

seeing that one before. Although I probably did and just forgot. The Disney store has had so many different

Buzzes…

whats really weird is i have a buzz kinda like that, but on the box, it says holiday and he has christmas

phrases…he is too silver!!

That is cool. A christmas theme buzz. And it has the colors to match the

holiday as well. Sounds like a cool christmas present.

I used to have a Buzz like that, only

it was small…Small enough to fit in your hand…But I had loads of fun w/it! lol
