Who is you're favorite non-Pixar villain?

What your favorite non-Pixar villain. The villain can be from any movie of show.
As long it’s not from a pixar movie. Just in case, TSS Syndrome and the Underminer don’t count.

Let me start us out, My favorite villains are: Dracken from Kim Possible, The Hacker from Cyberchase, Mather from Kim Possible, (and I know dash will like this guy) Zorpox The Conqueror A.K.A. Ron Stoppable.

Well, I like Darth Vader, Shredder, but those are just two. I have so many favorite villains, there is just so many!

I’m racking my brain on this one. Always loved the Joker, and all the x-men villians. Slade and Deathstroke from Titans. Ah, and good ol’ Voldy. Silly snake man.
There are also oodles of anime villians, but I don’t want to take up a lot of space listing them :3

Slade from Teen Titans, the cartoon (not as familiar with the comic). So mysterious, with only that one very expressive eye showing on his face. It’s interesting, in the early episodes, he’s more of a traditional villian - saying things like, “next time, my plans will succeed - and the Titans will pay!” and he’s got that butler hanging around. Later, he develops into more of an obsessive sociopath, wonderfully expressed through Ron Perlman’s voice work.

The classic Disney villains, Ursula, Jafar, Scar, Cruella, Evil Stepmother, Even Queen, etc.

General Woundwort from Watership Down (the book).

Darth Vader, of course  Also, The Emperor in the Episode 3. It was interesting to see his development in that movie.

Voldemort, of course . I also loved to hate Dolores Umbridge.

The Homunculai from Fullmetal Alchemist, the anime

The White Witch from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (the movie, haven’t read the book). I think she was the most Disney villian-like villian of the 2000’s, even though the movie was made by Walden Media.

And many, many more!

I do like Darth Vader too. I also like Claw from Inspector Gaget(Shows and movies), Also the alien race from Stargate SG1 called the Ori, Bowser and Wario from from the mario games.

Do villains from books count? If they do, my favorite all-time villain is Randall Flagg, from Steven King’s The Stand, aka “The Walking Dude”. He’s got that extremely sinister, yet-also-funny, demeanor that Syndrome has, but with a twist-he really DOES have “Super”, or rather, supernatural, powers…of Darkness. He’s a compelling yet utterly scary character. I sorta liked Jamie Sheridan’s version in the made-for-tv movie of the book, since he really emphasized that “evil redneck genius” aspect, but the book version is still better.

Hmm…I’ve always loved Slyvo Spleethe, from the Edge Chronicles. The whole ‘evil quartermaster’ thing always seemed so cool, and even though the books are aimed at a younger audience, so to speak, the characters have such authenticity that I still remember them, and Spleethe was by far my favourite.

Hades. x3 He made me want to root for the bad guys- he’s just so awesome.

And Maleficent is awesome too.

I also like the Wicked Queen from Snow White.

Non-Disney villains … I like Rasputin, the Grand Duke, Hexxus, Ganondorf, Witchy-poo, and Gruntilda.

Non-Animated villains deep breath … Darkness, FrankNFurter, Princess Mombi, Nome King, Mork, Grand High Witch, Wicked Witch, Dark Queen, Queen Mab, and the Queen of Hearts.

Maleficent totally terrified me when i was a little boy. She gave me nightmares when I sleep. My friend still runs behind a table when he sees here.

Hades from Hercules .

I’d have to say Darth Vader & Captain Hook

Oooh, a Rocky Horror fan? I wouldn’t really think of Frank as the villian, though. A sexy man in fishnets is a hero in my eyes!

I think the best Disney villians are Jafar (Aladdin), Ursula (The Little Mermaid) and Maleficient (Sleeping Beauty). Non-Disney, I adore Jareth the Goblin King (Labyrinth) and the Batman villians. I find that, generally, villians are more interesting than heroes since they always have a strong, driven character. And better costumes.

Mell (AKA Babyface): I’m a hardcore Rocky Horror fan. :sunglasses:

And I love Jareth as well though it is hard to determine if he’s a villain or not. He’s really just a rich brat who’s used to getting his way, IMO. But, for most of the film I suppose he is a villain.

Mine would have to be The Hamburglar, Ronald McDonald’s nemesis. And Dr. Curien. From the 1997 Sega Saturn/Arcade Game House of the Dead. You’ve probably never heard of Dr. Curien before, yes? Google it. PS I love Rocky Horror Picture show…

Among those you named, I like Darth Vader and Voldemort. Pretty comon choices  Although I don’t really see Darth Vader as a villain.

But my all-time favourite villain is Revolver Ocelot from the Metal Gear Solid series. He’s cool, cruel and clever. A perfect combination. Did anyone here play the games ?

Too many villains have stolen my heart, so here are my top 10 favorite non-Pixar villains:

1. Hades + Pain & Panic from Disney’s Hercules
2. Judge Doom + the weasels from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
3. Mohawk and his gang from Gremlins 2
4. Bowler Hat Guy + Doris from Meet The Robinsons
5. Dr. Drakken + Shego from Kim Possible
6. Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons
7. Krang from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1980s cartoon)
8. Darla Dimple + Max from Cats Don’t Dance
9. Edgar from Men In Black
10. Ganondorf from the Legend of Zelda series

Coincidentally, my favorite Disney villain performs a gesture my real-life hero detests. Pure evil. Heheh.

My favorite non-Pixar villian? Umm… Well…

Badda-Bing

I think alot of people know this by now, but I’m still a little embarassed to admit it. I can’t help it, though. I blush whenever I see the dude… I love him. I think he’s adorable, but don’t ask me why. I’ve always been attracted to villian’s sidekicks and to characters that are taken advantage of in general, probably because I can relate to them in that they really are nice guys with a soft heart that work for no pay but keep slaving anyway because they’re too sweet to say anything. (snigger) Kaa is one of the weird exceptions in that he’s not a sidekick, is classified as a villian (even though I don’t really see him as one), and only tries to…kill people because, well, because he’d die if he didn’t! Heh. I feel bad for the poor guy. He really needs a hug… (snigger) <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

PV - Yay! A Cat’s Don’t Dance and Roger Rabbit fan.

Well, I wouldn’t really consider Kaa a bad guy, but more along the lines of. . . well, I really don’t know what he is! BUt intresting choice there. Someone might need to explain to me the villain part, but oh well.

Wikipedia states “A villain’s disposition towards evil distinguishes them from an antagonist”.

Kaa strikes me as the second string villain type, “often not very evil or even competent. Typically more ridiculous or annoying than fearsome or deadly and often serve as comic relief. Often cowardly when their schemes fail.”

The Star Swordsman - He is classified as a “villian” because he attempts to eat Mowgli twice in the first “Jungle Book” film and once in the production’s predecessor/sequel. The fact that he is an omnivore, in this case, doesn’t necessarily make him bad, but the fact that he tries to kill the main character at least once lands him in the villian box, unfortunately. :stuck_out_tongue:

PV - Hmm. Interesting. Yep, that particular description seems to fit him all right.

Nice link, by the way. I’m gonna have to check out the rest of that Wikipedia page…
