Who wants a Toy Story 4 and 5?

Well, I would. Why not? This will be successful I’m sure. I bet they can make Toy Story to infinity and beyond!

NO.

Toy Story 4 and 5?

ouch! :frowning: A bit of over-saturation don’t you think? That would mean two original-awesome movies pushed back xD

Definitly NOT ! :confused:

[size=200]I’d rather it not happen[/size]

;-p NO!

The third Toy Story is suppose to be about Andy as a teenager so how could they make the story longer. Now I don’t even want to think about it! :cry: {no offense}

:open_mouth: wow :frowning:

Personally, I’d very much prefer that they leave it at 3, but if Pixar feels that there’s a good story to tell, then I’m all for it.

Jeffrey Katzenberg from Dreamworks probably said the same thing about the Shrek movies, and box office-wise, he was right. But when it comes to quality… that’s another story.

Difference between Dreamworks and Pixar:

Pixar Person #1: “Hey, Toy Story just made a ton of money. Do you think we should make a sequel?”
Pixar Person #2: “If we can come up with an amazing story, then why not. Otherwise, no.”

Dreamworks Person #1: “Hey, Shrek just made a ton of money. Do you…”
Dreamworks Person #2: [without hesitation] “Yes. We should make 20 more. Each movie will probably make 400 million dollars. That doesn’t even take inflation into account.”

that’s what I mean, I hope Pixar can come up with a good story!

Ah but no doubt Pixar could create a good story without using (dare I say abusing) the Toy Story franchise, whereas other production studios rely on the popularity of previous stories to sell ‘new’ films Pixar are more than capable of producing excellent films from scratch, as it were.

I, for one, am not overly fond of sequels. The only reason a sequel should be created is if the story is not or can not be finished in one film. Sequels which simply try to extend into a different story using the hype of the old characters are very difficult to pull off, as we have seen so many times.

So no I would not really like to see a Toy Story 4 or 5, I am apprehensive enough about Toy Story 3.

Never in a million years! Then Pixar would become like…like…
DREAMWORKS! Pixar already has a lot of sequals planned, and the likliness that even Pixar can create four brilliant sequals is impossible.

Dreamworks Person #3: Don’t forget spinoffs! If we give each character their own trilogy then that’s hundreds of movies!

Really? I think that Pixar does have brilliant ideas and makes brilliant films no matter if their sequels or not

no

oh my gosh :imp:

I’d have to say no…just because that would be a little too much for the fan base. If Pixar wanted to i have no doubt that they could make one really good but the fan base would be so tired of seeing woody and buzz again that they ratings and income would naturally go down.

Good dream…just not really practical in the real world. thank goodness there is fan fiction… :smiley:

Spoiler (highlight to read):
[spoil]No.[/spoil]

Hear, hear. The use of sequels to create a financial entity has already been taken up by Dreamworks.There’s no room for two to tango.
Through Pixar’s attitude we know that it will never happen at this current stage.

spoiler:

[spoil] if they made more sequels of that movie i might kill myself for ever liking pixar[/spoil]

just kidding :smiley: …but seriously…no :exclamation: :imp:

I perfectly understand that Pixar would never intentionally do anything for money…[spoil] o_0 Finding Nemo…[/spoil] but if they did do TS4-5 they would have great stories anyhow. If they did i would still go to them just because i would know that the storylines must be fantastic…
