Since Brad’s returning to Pixar, I now see a shred of light it could happen now…
I do think they should have a sequel. Were just gonna have to wait and see.
There really needs to be a sequel to The Incredibles. It one of the best pixar movies. I think they should make an Incredibles 2 rather that a Cars 2.
I wouldn’t mind a sequel. I’d prefer it if Pixar did a couple more non-sequels before making one though.
If there were to be a sequel, I’d like it if they all had original costumes. Mostly because I think that the friends and acquantainces of the Parrs would pretty quickly realise that the group of supers saving the town share a lot of similarities with that family.
I’d like a sequel as long as it doesn’t turn into a staright-out “superhero movie”. The original had the whole contrasting the mundane with the extraordinary theme, and the sort of parody bit about capes. As long as the sequel didn’t turn into a generic action movie about superheros, I’d be happy.
Nice suggestions, Nausicaa. However, I don’t want different costumes. Red and orange is my favorite colors, and I’d have to get a new Halloween costume D:
I like the idea of original costumes, but I would think that would happen later on down the road, like when VIolet is in college, Helen and Bob retired, and Dash is growing up.
Eh, I guess you’re right. I still don’t like the idea, though. It makes me cringe because I love the red suits so much.
In my opinion the red suits unite them as a family.
And the family is called The Incredibles, so I guess, that they would have to keep their own suits. I love it though.
Exactly!! If they change suits I will cry. Sad tears, not happy tears like Up, depressed, disappointed tears like TS3.
Well, if they do change their suits, then I would be surprised, but I would embrace the change.
I’ve seen people making suits for Vi and Dash on the net, but Ifind the thought of seeing the family grown and separated depressing and disturbing. Just like Andy. I would hate it.
I’ve been thinking about it and I realised that I love the red suits too! It probably wouldn’t matter too much though- Superman gets away with just wearing glasses to become Clark Kent., I’m sure nobody would care if the Incredibles kept their costumes and masks.
A film where they reveal their identities would be interesting. Like, the impact on Violet and Dash’s school life, media attention, people hating/ loving them. But that might be a bit similar to the newest Iron Man movie (which I haven’t seen).
Good idea!!
Mmmm…sounds cool. Kind of like the Fantastic 4 movies, - the stink factor.
I think the incredibles needs a sequel they left the door open for it i mean they already have the opening of the film which would be them kicking some underminer @$$ and then i dont know what will happen after that but im hoping for a sequel this movie needed a sequel more then cars did in my opinion.
Well the story was concluded in the video game called The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer, but I think that instead of making some cash-in, they should have got a better story and made a sequel.
Thats a really nice game, but i dont think is canon
yeah like zed said it the game story not the actual story
I really didn’t like ROTU too much. I beat it twice, and I keep the game for my collection, but It annoys me that Bob and Lucious are the only 2 playables. I would pick Bob and Helen. I would much prefer a sequel about the whole family.
